Roasted and shipped on the same day!!
I can’t say enough good about this company and their coffee. Roasted and shipped the day I ordered here on Amazon!Well packaged, can’t get any fresher, and fresh grinding the beans and making as a pour over, was the best tasting cup of coffee I have ever had! Two thumbs up!!👍🏼👍🏼

Not much flavor
I ordered this coffee trying to find an organic coffee that was fair trade. I was hopeful but it was a very weak flavor. Reminded me of an instant coffee. I got the medium roast so maybe I should have gotten bold but I normally ordered a medium roast with my Nespresso pods. I tried it in a stainless steel Nespresso pod twice and both times it was like brown water with little flavor.

Excellent Mold Free Coffee
I try to keep up with health advice from credible sources on social media (IG, YouTube). I love good coffee and drink a mug every morning. I recently learned that we need to be aware of not only pesticides but mold in coffee! After some research, I bought Camaro Island Organic Coffee (Palau New Guinea/medium roast) whole bean. It has an excellent, smooth, rich taste. My new favorite.

Good Coffee
I enjoyed this coffee but it is very expensive. It is definitely fresh roasted which is a real plus and it is also a fair trade product, also a plus. The thing that will keep from buying more though, is the fact that the roast is actually too dark. My automatic espresso machine says not to use a dark roast coffee because the beans could be too oily. I will be trying a different medium roast going forward but for those who don't mind the dark roast and the high price, these beans are excellent, fresh roasted, and ethically sourced.

I enjoy a chocolate/toffee taste that goes down smooth and has ...
We all have our taste preferences, and mine clearly prefers this coffee. I enjoy a chocolate/toffee taste that goes down smooth and has a nice lingering flavor. I appreciate that it is organic and shade grown so that it won't poison me or the environment. I always try to buy fairly traded coffee when possible. A well-done documentary I saw years ago convinced me that the corporate coffee types typically exploit the heck out of growers in third-world coffee producing countries. I feel better about acquiring, and have no problem paying more for, coffee that results in fair compensation for those folks producing such an excellent crop. In summary, this daily go-to coffee has everything I look for. Camano Island Coffee Roasters respond to orders quickly and it never seems to take too long to receive my order.

I fell in love with coffee from Papua New Guinea many years ago
I always buy whole bean coffee. I don't mind paying a premium, if I receive a premium product. I fell in love with coffee from Papua New Guinea many years ago. It is some of the richest tasting coffee there is, in my opinion. I have been buying different brands for years. When I compare this one to others I have tasted, this has a weaker, less rich flavor than I am looking for and like. Don't confuse rich tasting with strong. There is a difference and I am not talking about strong taste. I prefers Papua New Guinea beans roasted darker, more bold in flavor to bring out the rich flavor I want. If you prefer a more mild flavor then this is your kind of coffee. For some reason, and I am not a roasting expert, I just love rich, full flavored coffee, most Papua New Guinea I find is roasted medium not dark. I still had some Sumatra beans when I received my shipment so I add a little Sumatra to the Papua New Guinea before grinding and brewing. This adds a degree of richness and at least for me, improves the flavor. Everybody has different taste. Bear in mind this is one man's opinion. (Husband of K Cordato)

Excellent rich coffee
It’s a bit higher then other brands but you get what you pay for. Camano Island Coffee Roasters assists family farmers who produce the coffee to own the farms. They are not $2 a day workers that Starbucks employs.

Expired Coffee
I dont understand how it can be allowed that you can be shipped coffee that has a best by date thats nearly TWO MONTHS PAST DUE. Absolutely terrible for the amount of money the coffee costs.
