For the past few years we have added a little fun to giving money or cash as a gift by placing it in a puzzle box. No spoilers, but this one had them scratching their heads for a while before figuring it out. Don’t let them sneak off with their phone to look up the solution! Rather than specifying an age one should consider the maturity and patience of the recipient.

We used these puzzle boxes for gift cards for our grandkids at Christmas. Lots of fun watching them figure out how to solve the puzzle and open the boxes.

The puzzle design is genius but maybe a little too genius for most people to figure out on their own. I read the instructions and still couldn’t open it for about 30 minutes and I’m an engineer. A little tedious trying to fill the compartments as you have to close one while it’s upside down.

it is a real puzzle box. Several adults were well entertained trying to open it, without the instructions. It is complex not just one puzzle piece. I will buy it again to gift with a gift card inside.
