So, the hats material feels fine quality and seems to have been well made. It's material is waterproof and that makes a big difference to me as I'm a postman and out in all weather's ... I own a lot of caps and this does look a little odd. It's material means it doesn't sit all that well on the head and hold the usual flattering shape. However I view this as more of a functional item rather than a fashion statement.In the rain the peak on caps keeps the water out of my eyes and my face if I tilt my head down a bit. However, my other hats (including the one provided by my work) aren't waterproof. So even though I usually will have my hood up as well, after a short time their peaks absorb the water and it spreads throughout the hat quickly and is extremely wet and uncomfortable.However this hat does not do that and seems to stop that spreading of water keeping it much more comfortable.It has the usual air holes but unless someone tips a bucket over your head, they really don't matter and rain doesn't seem to get through.My only issue would be that the depth is not quite there. The snap back buckle adjust nicely so it's fine to secure around your head correctly... I'd just like to be able to pull the hat to slightly lower down, but that will depend on the shape of your head.

I'm usually a flat peak kind of cap guy, but I saw this and decided to take a dip with it. Well, not literally..It's waterproof enough but I think for heavy storms it may struggle with a constant flow. But it is thin enough to be quick dry so even if it does it should dry out quick enough. Waiting for a bit more rain for me to go out with it and try that theory out but tried it indoors with a glass of water just pouring it over my head.Now.. it's not fully waterproof.. it still has the typical cap holes in BUT it does withstand a constant full flow of water and beads up or is resistant enough to water to keep my head dry. I genuinely think a heavy rain flow will soak through but definitely more waterproof than my other caps.Another thing, if you have a head bigger than about 25-26" you may struggle. There's not a lot of spare material so it may not fit if you have a bigger head than my big head. I have about a 24" head and the material doesn't tuck back in to the cap but you still have another inch or so left.For most people this will absolutely be enough though!It's looks are pretty typical, pretty basic looking. I don't mind simple looks though. Peak is nice and sturdy although I'm not sure how it will turn out after a wash. States you can wash it on a 30 degree wash. Caps never come out right after a wash though and cap cages are generally made for flat peak style to keep the peak flat. Might be a while before I need to wash it but will update when I do.I've spent more than £13.99 on caps by bigger brands, more 'fashionable'. Mainly cause those types don't make my head look even bigger by wearing a cap that looks small on me. This type of cap I didn't like when I was younger and never found one that I like the feel of. Until now. I genuinely like this one. I have a lot of hair though so maybe it feels different if I was bald or had short hair.A good strong 4 star all round on this one for sure.

Comfortable to wear this baseball cap has an adjustable strap at the back and fits well on my rather large head. It does have a slight sheen due to the material it is made from but it is well constructed with good stitching both inside and out. It really does repel the rain and truly is an all weather hat that is ideal for all seasons or just a scottish summer.

If you want a basic hat you can personalise, this is it! I got this to use with my Cricut machine and use heat press vinyl to personalise it! Worked really well on the hat material and will order again!
