This is my third Unicorn Beetle case. I had two over the lifetime of my Galaxy 7 (which was 5+ years), I broke the clip spring during the last year and bought another to replace it. This one is built just as solidly and looks just as good on the phone. I bought a white phone and this dark green accented case, and with the case off, I have a bright phone (as if I'll EVER use the phone without the case......), and with the case on, cannot even tell the original phone color as it covers all the white parts (what I was hoping for).I agree with one or more other users that the volume keys are useless when the phone is in the holster. I hadn't noticed, but generally I am using some wireless adapter to play any music or using a headset for conversations, so the external device would always have it's own volume control and I don't think that will be an issue for me, but if you like to use the phone's volume controls while holstered, look elsewhere.Also, I am a complete naysayer when it comes to "screen protectors", I've never broken or scratched the screen on any of my phones without one, and given that this Gorilla Glass or whatever is probably much more scratch-resistant than any "screen protector" material out there, I kind of doubt these "protectors" really do much to protect it.....more likely get scratched themselves and need to be removed eventually. Imuch prefer to use the bare screen and it feels nicer under the fingers - the first thing I did with this and my previous case was to remove (forcibly, if necessary) the screen protector and discard it. Obviously, I have absolutely NO problem with the fingerprint reader or any other touch-screen functions!Compared to my Galaxy S7 case, this one seems a little harder to get the phone in and out of the holster. That might only be that that this case is new and still really tight, I can't say for sure. But it sure is holding onto the phone, if you value that security then be prepared to struggle a little more than usual to put the phone in and out of the holster (at least when it is new, I haven't had it for more than a few days yet).

great case everything is tight and phone holder works well. i punched out screen protector for a glass one. not water proof, but they dont claim it is.

The Unicorn Beetle case I had for my last phone was so good and durable that I wanted one for my new Pixel 7. It is just as solid and robust as the previous one and the little kick stand on the back is great. However, the phone can't record or read my fingerprint for unlocking. There is a circle that is supposed to fit the screen but you can clearly see it does not adhere well. Even with the phone's enhanced screen sensitivity switched on, it prevents the fingerprint reader from working. Otherwise, I'm sure it will survive the drops the phone will experience over the next couple of years.

I am erasing my old review and making a new one now that I figured out my issues with the Fingerprint Reader. Now it works for me 100% of the time with my thumb and pointer finger. Only slight complaint is sometimes the fingerprint sensor really shows up in the sun due to thinner or different plastic but honestly, I have gotten use to it and it is not a big deal. In most conditions, you can't even notice it. I am so happy with this case, I just purchased the same one for my wife's Pixel 7 Pro.Finger Print Sensor Tips:1) Make sure it is clean when you put your screen on and 100% dry. At first I had a bubble which may have been due to not being fully dry after I cleaned the screen. I was able to take the screen off and redo. Not sure if it helped but I saw in the reviews for the Pixel 6 Pro that somebody recommended using double sided tape. Not leaving it on, but just try to get some of the tackiness to the thumbprint area to help it stick to the phone. I think this helped and was only needed because I took the screen protector on and off so many times trying to get this to work. If you follow the rest of the advise, you probably will not even need this step since you will get it working right the first time.2) Delete and redo all of your fingerprints after putting on the screen3) The most important part and where I had my greatest issues is to make sure the phone is flat on a table when you register/create your fingerprint profiles. I was holding the phone up and pressing. This method worked fine without the screen protector but I think you get a much better sample if it is flat and you can press with a little force so it can sample through the plastic. Most importantly when it is on a table the phone will not move at all during the process. This method makes it work with the screen protector perfectly for me.4) Make sure in the Display Settings that you enable Screen Protector which I think increases the sensitivity.Now after doing all this, both my pointer finger and thumb work 100% of the time. Also, when using the fingerprint reader, the phone does not have to be flat. It unlocks fine while holding.The case does add a little bulk but I am ok with this. I have used UB for my last couple of phones and I am use to it. Only harder thing to get use to is that it is a larger phone and as a result takes up more pocket space which I am still getting use to.

This is my second time purchasing this case, 1st time was for a samsung and now 2nd for a Google pixel, I dropped my previous phone lots in this case and not a single scratch or damage, only reason why it went cause software, I work in an rental industry of heavy equipment so this case is a life saver.

Köpte denna till min pixel o den är robust ger känslan av att skydda mobilen ordentligt, va bara försiktig med att inte kladda ner ytan som skall ha kontakt med finger avläsaren kommer det skräp eller fingeravtryck på den så funkar ej avläsaren .

Sieht gut aus und ist sehr robust, allerdings funktioniert der Fingerabdruck-Sensor schlecht. Wer damit leben kann hat eine tolle Hülle!
