ACMEThunderer TITANIC Mates Whistle

My teacher from my student teaching uses this whistle and now that I have one, I swear by it! I use it to call horns up for SSB and the projection of sound is perfect! I also use it when kids get too loud in the instrumental room because I can never get their attention and I will not sacrifice my vocal health to get their attention (I won’t yell over them).

I bought this as a gift for my 6 year old grandson who is obsessed with the Titanic - he seriously knows more about it than most adults! The whistle looks completely authentic. It is heavy duty and so beautifully made I almost want to keep it for myself! Go ahead and order this item - you'll be glad you did!

Had no idea what to expect when I ordered the Acme Thunderer TITANIC Mates Whistle. Sweet surprise. Solid piece that is very loud. Have it on the boat. Hope it doesn't end up like the whistle's namesake!

I’ve carried this whistle since 2012 and it still looks new. A neighbor wanted one to carry while walking her dog. Another friend carries her Thunder whistle on her morning walks. It’s an extra level of protection if you need to call attention to yourself or someone around you. I never leave home with out it.

I did a deep dive on whistles, and found a lot of people that said this was their favorite. Very glad I took their advice... all the little stuff like unfinished/unpolished edges and overall attention to detail and function are unsurpassed with the TITANIC model. Love this thing.

Nice heavy whistle but NO LANYARD. Why would you sell a whistle with no lanyard?

I really enjoy the whistle it is great quality and sounds amazing. Exactly like it would back in 1912. Perfect for any titanic collection or even just as a everyday whistle. Would highly recommend

The whistle was larger than I expected. It is very loud and I expect to hand it down the generations it is so solidly built. Way to go Acme.
