OK train for the price
The train itself is OK, though I was sent the wrong set - the listing says you can add water to create a smoke effect, but the one we received is clearly marked “no smoke” on the box. I don’t really mind, but the kids were disappointed. Setting up the track is tedious because you have to actually break apart each individual plank and attach them to the rails. It kept my kids busy for a long time, so I guess that’s a win.

Not as advertised
No remote and it doesn't blow smoke. Bottom of the package has 2 spots indicating there's different models, and this one was marked "no smoke". The pictures displayed on amazon are extremely misleading. Tracks are also a pain to assemble

Average quality, some pieces easy to break. Still recommend.
Pros: Inexpensive, looks greatCons: Misleading - mine did not come with the steam function even though that’s what I ordered. Apparently they offer two versions, one without the steam function, and one with.Also, some of the pieces are pretty easy to break, so just be gentle while assembling.Overall, I still recommend.

Not what they say it is
This train does not have steam! Front of box says it does, side of box checked off that it doesn’t. I believe it was a used train that was sent to me because it was missing parts and some of the plastic items inside already had the labels on it.

Doesn't smoke
Overall nice concept but the water leaked, it didn't smoke and it moved a little slow.
