Heavy Hold Pomade American Crew Pomade Men 3 oz (Pack of 2)

If you already use this stuff, you know it is great and does not leave a bunch of buildup in your hair. It is great for long and short hairstyles alike. The great thing about buying it here is the price - far cheaper than salons and big box stores. If you have never used it - it is difficult to know how it may work in your hair - I have thick straight hair - about 2 inches long. I can pretty much achieve any style using this, without my hair being stiff or falling out of hold. It rinses out easily with hot water alone. I have never had a allergic reaction, and the hold is never stiff or heavy. It is the best stuff to use for mature hair styles, in my opinion. The smell is clean, and fresh - and leaves a slight shine in your hair.

I do an undercut hairstyle but I have curly hair so it's hard for me to fine a product that makes my curly hair straight. I've been using Walmart's pomade product for a while now. It's a medium hold pomade and similar product to American Crew. I've been buying the Walmart product cause American Crew is twice as much and it's been working out from me. I bought this product cause Walmart changed their product and it doesn't work for me anymore. I was a little concern on how heavy the hold is on this product but once I tried it out, I was glad that I bought it and at a 2 for 1. My curly hair gets straighten out with this and last a lot longer than the medium hold. I really enjoyed this product and will buy it again.

I never have a problem paying for this expensive pomade at the hairdresser, but the 2 pack for what i normally pay for one was awesome, especially since I'm going through this SO FAST needing more product while my COVID-19 hair grows crazy!

Don't use to much and use on damp hair. I love this stuff because it can hold my hair all day in Fl humidity.

I recently started growing my hair longer at the behest of my wife. My compromise is that I have to slick it back as much as possible to keep it the heck away from my face, I used styling gel at first but I don't like the how crusty it made my head feel. I looked into product a little more and discovered pomade. I tried the American Crew stuff with Elvis on the label, and it was pretty good, but i wished there was just a little more hold. I came on to Amazon to see if I could find it at a cheaper price than walmart, and discovered this heavier hold version.For reference I have VERY thick, course hair, and it's about 7in long where I am growing it out (sides and back are about 2mm, I am doing classic slicked back look).Pros:The hold is very good with minimal amounts appliedVery good sheenPleasant faint smellCons:Gets more crusty than I would like. It's not as bad as gels, but certainly more than I've had with other pomades.I wish there was a half-way point between this product and the Elvis product, that would be about perfect.
