Household Essentials 43-0 Receiver Bracket

I received this very quickly, perhaps too quickly. It took quite a while before the area was prepared for my retractable clothes line and this was installed. The package went unopened, too bad. When we open the package more than a year later, it was missing the nuts and bolts to attached the bracket to the pole. I had to search through our jars of extra nuts and bolts to find one to use. Luckily I was able to locate them. Other than that, it seems to be just what I needed. That said the vendor needs to be more conscious of their packaging. It was a pain in the .... and like I said, we have jars of extra nuts and bolts for just such a need. Does everyone?

Based on other reviews of the retractable clothesline dryer and post, it seemed as though we also needed to purchase the bracket. However, a bracket was included with the dryer/post. I did not have any problem returning the extra bracket.I am short and it is a little difficult for me to connect the clothesline to the bracket, but otherwise it is fine.

I read a review that said this bracket was not supplied with the 3 piece clothes line so I bought it seperately.It was supplied with the clothes line.So I didn't need it after all.I think I will keep it though to use the clothes line indoors when I need to (winter time)

Does not fit tightly in the sleeve. It is three sections therefore it bends. As a result the close line sags when you hang close on the line. And, bad return policy. I am stuck with a product I can't use.

Wrong purchase...

We love the product! It's everything it says it is. We hung the receiver iinto the house siding easily good idea that we had to drill a pilot hole about-- but not as big ---as the bolts that come with it. The other end is attached to a 2x6x 8' post which is in concrete that we used to withstand the weight of the clothes at. Max load. It's perfect. The line can be made taut easily. The ONLY little imperfection is that retracting the line---you gotta do it smoothly, or the lines entangle. So--- easy doe s it. . Thanks.
