Built solid..
Went this route because all ready had gooseneck hitch (B&W) in F250SD. Cheaper then getting a regular 5th wheel set up..Pretty easy install, hardest thing was drilling holes the 4 holes in plate. Quality steel drill bit and pilot holes cooling spray a must...Works great..easy self locking to ball, and disengage cable..Well worth it.

Quality built
I bolted this and welded it on to our fifth wheel. Haven’t pulled with it yet but fits well and I think it’s tuff enough. Best part, it’s made in Idaho!

#1 in easy hook up and unhook.
This is what we expected. We did not want to put a heavy 5th wheel plate in and out.We pull stock trailers as well and this is easy to use our ball already in out pickup.You cannot go wrong!

Would but the product again. Just from another seller. This seller sucked.
Product was great. Worked as it should and pretty easy to install although including a bit to drill the holes would have been beneficial as it was difficult to find a bit. I did not receive the while package however. In shipment it was turn open and parts were missing by the time I got it. More the sellers fault not the product itself.

Missing the remote release cable and brackets.
Shipment was not complete. Remote cable not included. Also install instructions not included. I had already install the adapter when I realized I didn't have the remote release cable.

Disaster of a product
The bolts they shipped with the unit were too big to fit in the hitch's pre-drilled holes. The steel is extra hard and we went through 6 bits drilling out the holes in the hitch. We were mounting the hitch to an RV in the middle of nowhere and did not have the option of buying new mounting hardware. If that is not bad enough, the hitch would not release from the truck's gooseneck ball and had to be disassembled from the trailer to get it to release. I will be returning the unit and don't recommend purchasing it over the hours of labor and problems involved with it.

Worth the money
Get the adjustable one that way it fits multiple towing heights.I found out the hard way return was easy

Did the job.
Worked like a charm. I am using my 5th wheel as a home while building a house. Had a truck for a horse trailer and only had the gooseneck in the bed. This adapter was perfect. Good Youtube video up on installation that helped. Hardest part was getting the holes drilled.
