If your looking at this you've realized the yearly cost to use the Mitsubishi app to start your outlander. 300$/ year in Canada. Took me 45 min to install and clean up. So worth it , easy to install just follow video. Just plugs in with no cutting of wires. I tell every outlander owner I see about this starter . Worth every penny

Instructions included served as a universal manual for most cars and not specific to the outlander. Fortunately, there is a link provided with detailed explanations. For those not mechanically inclined it may take longer to install. The most difficult part for me was pulling the bcm cable port from the module. I ended with few cuts and scrapes on my hand from banging it against the housing. If you don’t have strong hands, get someone who does. Read the programming instruction for the module before you start programming it.

The only thing I would possibly complain about is the fact that the 1 connector does not lock into place. I found I did not have it in far enough the first time and had to remove some panels to get it pushed back into place. I hope it does not pull out. Other than that, it is easy to install and works great (MUCH better than the crap app that comes with the vehicle).
