This came in a small compact package and is easy to store. The dowels did not fit the holes so had to do some sanding. Also dowels not enough to cover all the holes on one side. It could come with instructions thats easier to see( blurred pictures) but could just go on amazon and find instructions there. Also better if it came with a storage bag so we dont lose dowels. Easy to use( when you see instructions) and overall a good buy

Suggest a rubber mat to set it on to keep it from slipping.I had to take a pic of instructions to enlarge so I could read then.Not a bad product.

Let it be known that the first obstacle I encountered when receiving this bow maker instrument was to fit the oversized round pegs into the undersized precut holes. However, being one ready to accept a challenge, I put forth due diligence and achieved success in preparing the bow maker to prove its worth. Once the pain and swelling of my hands had receded form the Herculean effort required of assembly, I armed myself with ribbon and had at, only to destroy what seemed like endless yards of my prized 1.5 inch spool of glorious cloth gloss. This situation was due to instructions that lacked any instructional value of guidance, leaving me on my own to improvise. Although I have a PhD, I admit to having had some innate learning challenges, but to my credit I was always the fastest in the slow classes. By contrast, in real life I have managed to grasp, absorb and conquer all required instruction necessary to thrive as productive citizen contributing to the welfare of humanity and society at large. However, I swear that the included instructions were designed to guarantee failure and break the human spirit. After wasting far too much time, I gave up, went to the store and bought a readymade bow. Bottom line, read all the one-star ratings and heed the warnings. Please, do as I say and not as I did. BTW - Did I mention that prior to scribing this review I had already processed a return for the bow maker?

I love this bow maker!! It is so versatile when it comes to bows. You put the pegs where you need them based on how full you want your bows. I like the fact that my center is right at the base and it is faster to tie your bow off and then just fluff it up the way you want it. My old bow maker only had 2 pegs snd you had to tie off in the middle of the 2 pegs. If you make a lot of bows and different sizes and fullness, then you will love the options this bow maker gives you.

Instructions aren’t good about explaining how to make bows.

I have only used one type of bow set up but it has made SUCH a difference in the speed of knocking out bows for welcome signs I made for a fundraiser. Where has this been all my life?

I'm sure if I received directions on how to make a bow I would love it but I didn't received any directions so I have made no bows and it has just been collecting dust.

Love this bow maker makes it very easy to make beautiful bows
