This outdoor timer works great and is extremely easy to program - which is by far the most important feature. Most outdoor timers require an engineering degree to program requiring a ridiculously lengthy series of steps each and every time the power goes out, or you want to change the on/off times due to change of sunrise/sunset times.Now, the very reason this is so simple to program is the same reason it has one minor draw back. You can NOT program the precise "on" time nor the "off" time. The "on" time is preset as sunset as perceived by the photoelectric cell. The only programming options are the number of hours until shutoff. You must choose one of the preset numbers. So both the on and off times are limited. But to me, that limitation is more than offset by the simplicity. If you have never used an outdoor timer before, you will be surprised by how often they need to be reprogrammed as I mentioned earlier. This makes the process so much less burdensome.

Value of money, easy installation, work well

I liked it. Mounted perfectly on the beam or post on the cabana. I would give it a 5 star rating but you can't just turn it On and Off. You have to cycle from On to all of the 2/4/6/8 hour timed settings before you get to Off. More of a nuisance. Other than that, it works great!

I really like how easy it was to use, just plug in and touch a few buttons and you're set to go.main concerns are you should NOT weedeat by this, it feels pretty fragile and I doubt it would survive.Wish the cord provided was longer but I can buy my own!

Excellent product. This timer remembers your setting when the power is restored...many of the photocell and timer devices zero out and forget if there is a power bump or failure. The cable is robust. The watertight enclosure locks firmly closed and covers the plugs while providing enough room and while remaining compact. It's just a well designed unit.Some have complained about the photocell function: don't shine your landscape lights at this device because it will see them as day and turn off, then see night and turn on, oscillating. This is typical for all photo timers.Some have complained it stopped working: It has a built in resettable circuit breaker: reset it if you overload it with something like a pressure washer :(Really, this timer rocks when compared with other units...and I have used and tested many of them.

I own one and and the dust to dawn sensor doesn't work the seen me out a replace me and the new one doesn't work as well

A very good timer and can plug in up to six. I like the cover door to prevent water from rain or melted snow from potentially causing a short. My second one of these.

I have been using this stake and so far it’s been great. I love that it comes on at dusk and turns off at the 6 or 8 hour mark. I don’t have to remember to turn on or off the Christmas lights.

Used it for our Halloween 🎃 decorations and now going to use it for Christmas ones
