I've finally found a balance of food for my 14yr old pup. After years of looking for the right mix of food for his health and taste, I mix this with water and add in 1/3 can of Ziwi Peak canned chicken (he doesn't like the Beef for some unknown reason) he eats it right up once he gets hungry. He's not a breakfast eater but sometimes he likes and afternoon meal then a 1/2 meal at night. Our Vet even said that if not for his eyes mild cataract fogging he'd never guess he was 14 so I'm doing something right. He's been eating for about 3-4 yrs but finally found the right canned food to mix with it because alone it's too rich for him. He has a strong heart and acts like a pup chasing squirrels and such and very little shedding given that he's a Jack/Corgi mix. When he eats regular grain dog food he sheds like crazy and we're covered in white fur all over our clothes. If you have a high shedding pup, grain free without soy peas beans and legumes like this with Primal is a great start. It takes about a month to notice so don't expect a miracle overnight but it will happen. It's been a life changer for us.

Add no sodium broth to hydrate and dog loves it. Just too pricey for small amount may have to find something else.

We have been using these based on a friends recommendation for the last 2 months. We have a dog that is reluctant to eat, and crumbling a piece over his food has him excited to eat again. Another bonus is that they are packed with good nutrition.

This is used as “gold standard” treats for our dog. I think it used to come in 16oz bags when we first purchased? Not 100% sure (didn’t keep the packaging) but i think they reduced the weight and kept the same/slightly higher price. Our dog enjoys this and we have a variety of freeze-dried raw treats as “gold standard” treats for her which we feed during high distraction/tricky situations.

Takes a while for pieces are ready because of water. Very pricey. Found other bags for 15 dollar less with free ship.

These were not the same as in the pet store. Almost burnt & very crumbly
