Good, different!
A missing girl, her father distraught, is grist to Atticus’s PI mill. But this girl leads to the ubiquitous ‘County Lines’ gangs, London and an unexpected encounter for Atticus…meanwhile Mack and Andy look like it’s all over. Mack and Atticus join up to investigate a dog’s acquisition of a human femur and it’s Atticus’s Encyclopaedic Knowledge of foxes’ scavenging habits that leads them to multiple bodies. Nice to have a vulnerable male character. The Mystery Chess player is back. I have a couple of theories….

A good read but ....
It's a shame about the geography, Godshill is in the Isle of Wight not the New Forest. Some Americanisms, pitchers instead of vases!
