Ok my Mom goes out quite a bit and she uses her walker. She put on the bar a large S hook to hold her pocketbook. She doenst like the wire basket since it doesnt fold down. After awhile the pocketbook got to be awkward on the S hook and it wasnt steady on the handlebar. So I found this product and ordered it for her. I made sure that the walker she had was the correct one- which it was. So I attached it and it didnt work. No matter how many times I tried to adjust the 6 straps, one side was too short. So then I tried another walker we had in our basement. I attached the bag to this one and it worked! Why didnt the other one work? I looked at the 1st walker we had and measured it and it was about 22" on the inside. The other walker was about 18". So the 4" difference made a difference. So I let her use it. I asked her the next time how was the walker. She said it was good but it felt like it was making her fall over, it was pulling her. So she puts her pocketbook and her ipad in the walker. So they are both a little awkward/heavy so it would make sense that that weight would pull her forward. So i switched the basket to the inside. I let her use it and she loved it. The walker didnt feel like tipping over because of the weight of the ipad and her pocketbook. My concern was when you closesd the walker, would it NOT close with the bag on the inside? Well as you can see the walker closed with no problem. The bag comes with a sturdy liner for the bottom of the bag to keep it sturdy. All in all she loves it. It does what it needs to do. this basket makes a big difference for me. i can carry items with both hands on walker. the pockets are useful, holds items securely. the bands to hold bottles or csns upright is very useful.

The cross bars on my walker have a slight bend to them. I was pleasantly surprised that this bag fits. However I had to attach the top left and right straps first (not the center 2 as the Amazon product details show), in order to stabilize it before attaching the other 4 straps. I think the strap attachment process isn’t immediately obvious. I looped the Velcro over the metal tube, then fed it through the buckle, then folded it back onto itself so the Velcro stuck together. Overall I’m pleased. I recommend getting some microwave soup mugs with lids, they fit perfectly in this bag and are great to carry soup, cereal, salads, leftovers, muffins, sandwiches, whether it’s been microwaved or not.

I was looking for something pretty / feminine for my mother and saw many options. However, this one was the right size for her walker. I bought some iron-on appliqués and attached. I used a low temperature and placed parchment paper between the appliqué and the iron, being careful not to hold the iron down for too long (could melt / distort the basket). She gets so many compliments from the residents at the assisted living she is at. A few have asked her where she bought it. The bag is roomy, quite sturdy, water repellent and has numerous straps to keep from falling forward. I recommend this. Too bad it only comes in black.

You have to be careful of the weight you put into the apparatus. It has a tendency to make the walker top heavy.

It took a few minutes to find the best way to attach the unit to my walker.

Helps move items from room to room like water mug. This way both my hands are on the walker. Love it!
