This Calphalon pan is amazing. I can use it like a regular frying pan or kinda like a wok. It’s versatile and very useful. I like that it is lightweight and easy to clean. The non-stick is perfect - when I fry an egg and it just slides right out of the pan with no coaxing. The lid fits really well and cleans up easy. It’s nearly as heavy as the pan. Both pieces are nice and sturdy.I use this on my gas stove and it works well on low, medium or high heat. I chose this handle design because I wanted something lightweight, and also because I frequently have 2-3 pots on the stove at a time. The kitchen is small so we’ve had a few incidents where the handles of pans got knocked causing spills. These handles are thin and short so don’t expect them to stay as cool as a regular handle. I just use square crochet trivets to grab the handles - cuz the handles don’t get super hot.This is my 3rd Calphalon pan in 20 years. They’ve really never disappointed me. I’m excited to replace my 10” skillet next. The old one lasted over 10 years. Don’t know if I’m meant to keep them that long, but I did. And I’m replacing it because it’s non stick coating doesn’t work properly anymore.Be aware - this is pan I’m reviewing is not the kind of Calphalon that you can use with metal utensils - it’s part of the classic series - so use plastic, silicone or wood tools with it. The packaging tells you this info too. It was packaged nice and arrived quick.I’m in love with my new Calphalon pan.

These are durable and easy to clean! Started using calphalon years ago and never regretted buying them!

Perfect size, perfect depth, very easy to wash. Nothing sticks to the pan.

This is my second purchase of this caphalon nonstick pot. They last a very long time. I love how heavy duty it is, it heats the food evenly and stays hot. It’s durable, it’s great for soups, large saucy things, like salsa, taco meat, chili, pasta, etc. My only ding on the review, is that you have to use a hot pad on the handles. My earlier Cephalon pot had rubber handles that were safe to touch. This pot gets hot on the handles because they are metal. Not a big deal, the benefit is that you can place the whole pot in the oven. For future design recommendations, though, I’d prefer handles that I can grab without having to use a hot pad. Every time you stir, I would like to not have to get a hot pad.

I replaced my original Calphalon Dutch oven with this which is the new version of the same thing, I think. The updates to it are the straining lid and the spouts on both sides of the pot as well as the new coating. I really love the pan so far, but we'll see how long the surface lasts. We got about 10 years out of the last one, but it should have been replaced a couple of years ago because of the damaged Teflon. The new surface is supposed to be healthier and that's worth the cost to replace right there.

I'm really happy with this pan and glad I bought it. It replaces an earlier version of this pan from Calphalon that I've had for years. The size and shape of this pan make it very versatile and I use it multiple times a day for different meals. My older model had rubber grips on the handles, which is the only thing I miss on this new version.Also, I bought this pan from Amazon Warehouse and got a great price on it. It was listed in "like new" condition, and was being offered at a great price. I was pleased when it was delivered and found it to be in perfect condition and obviously unused. The manufacturer's box had some minor wear, but that was it; otherwise, the pan I received is brand new. I recommend giving Amazon Warehouse items a try - I was very happy with my experience. Free shipping and returns, so if you're not happy you can send it back just like any other Amazon item. Worth a shot.

Love caphalon. The main brand I have purchased for the last 10 years. I chose this product amongst others because of the price and name brand. So happy with my purchase. The size is just right to do all different types of stir fries. I have also made soup with it. A super versatile pan. I wish I had purchased this a while back. I would not have needed to buy so many different kind of pans. This pan does the job of at least 3 of my pans.

I use 5-quart Dutch oven for much of my cooking. It is good for making soups and roasts and surprisingly it cleans very easy.

This dutch oven pot is quite versatile, food cooks evenly, is easy to clean and can serve for multiple recipes! It's sturdy yet not heavy.I'm very pleased with this purchase!
