HORRIBLE
I’ve spent hours on this lock. Had to order a second thinking there was a problem with the first. Finally got it working and it only lasted a couple months before the electronics didn’t work. Replaced battery and still didn’t work. Don’t waste your money!

Timed guest user access and key card access lock
Works like I want. You can set up access times for other smartphone users so someone can only open the lock during set hours. Has access key tags too that can be set up in addition to smartphone users.

A Little Bulky But They Won't Get Past It
My first impression was bigger, bulkier, and heavier than I imagined. This lock looks like something else.I had some trouble programming this, but I am sure it was me and not the instructions.Hold the card, count to ten, and program the app. I am trying to figure out what it was I did that got me so confused. You can share the access and let anyone in with their phone.Using the dial combination, access was too smooth and slow to get open with more than four digits. You need to hold the dial exactly, or you can miss the code sweet spot.It is easy to lock, though... its the unlocking by the combination that needs something. I suggest clicking feel to it, so the numbers aren't missed as you spin.

It is NOT weather proof don't waste money
This lock has a potential but I have already lost 5 locks to rain. Because of the electronic parts you cannot save them. Either I ended up cutting the locks or throw them away. With the last one I seal all the corners and openings so it won't get water damaged. 5 out of 6. Almost $200 each waste of money.

Impressive
First, this lock is EXPENSIVE for a padlock, lets get that out of the way up front....However, it is VERY unique and built like a tank, the pix does not due it justice. The build quality is superb, I would suggest its prob. one of the most difficult padlocks to vandalize....but if someone is determined enough, and has the tools, any lock can be compromised. The goal is to make it so hard, thief's move on to easier targets....3 ways to open, combo, key card and app.The Combo works well, however, it requires a bit of practice to get it too work smooth. Based on what numbers you pick, it can be a slow process, but very hard to pick, nearly impossible. Instructions could be better to demonstrate how the combo works, as its like no other combo lock. That is a minor ding. The app works well, and I had no issues with it all...the key card also works well...but remember, if you loose your keys, the lock is vulnerable.I was going to give this 4 stars due to the high price, but considering how unique this product is, the incredible build quality and its rated for outdoor use... I decided to give it 5 stars as the product really is a super high end padlock. The company makes a lot of industrial types of locks, so this is no toy lock...use for something YOU really need to protect.I like the fact the lock will contact your phone when battery gets low, but 2 year life is pretty darn good...no instructions included, they must be downloaded... that seemed a bit odd.., but welcome to the new world...Product works exactly as advertised...recommended.

I work in access control and this thing amazed me!
The only reason I got this was to see if it could do what it actually claims to do. I work with commercial Access control (Salto, Schlage, Yale, Latch, Etc) and the only comparable product on the market that offers a true SFIC is Salto Neo/Geo line. While the salto product is awesome its not for end users and certainly not for the frugal as they require wireless relays, subscriptions and have ongoing cost. Granted barring those two things I sell and install a lot of them. People like retrofit stuff especially over new installs which require massive door modifications and tend to look ugly. Anyhow Im rambling on here as Im only reviewing the actual locking part of this lock and not the lock itself. The physical lock with shackle is very robust and well made. The SFIC pairs up nicely to it and offers a surprising amount of versatility for unlocking (Fob, app, code) which you never really see in a hasp lock. This lock is also unpickable and great for high security areas. Lets roll into Pros/ConsPros:-Most affordable SFIC smart lock there is hands down-Has multiple access ways, (FOBS, app, combo)-Incredibly robust (puts most large manufacturers to shame)-Reaction time from app is very quick. (lots of these types of locks have 5 second plus delays)-Well made and robustCons:-As far as the lock itself goes...NONE!-As far as a company goes though.....quite a bit. North Americas lock market is a tightly held market held by 3 or 4 american lock manufactuers. Prying away control from them is no easy task. And unfortunately due to politics products made in certain countries are passed on simply based on the country they are from. Of course there are inroads, but they are not easy. All in all this SFIC is on another level and easily tops the best that Salto and stanley have to offer for SFIC electronic cores. Its hurdle at this stage is gaining in roads in the American market. Hopefully they dont go the way of lockly and completely ruin their company with shoddy business practices.
