I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this item. It's delicate, but heavy. If I saw this in a gift shop, I'd expect to pay much more.The elephant is sort of off-white, but maybe the palest of grays, and the molded "etching" is tastefully done, yet slightly whimsical at closer inspection.The base is subtlety designed like a lotus flower, but not overpowering. The color is hard to describe... pale grayish teal?This would look great in many decors, but I think it really suits a mid-century modern theme.Multiple rings can be placed over the trunk, but the first one will sort of cover the face. More jewelry can be placed on the base. This is also nice as just a decorative item, not just a ring her.

I ordered this gift for a "white elephant" gift exchange because I thought it would be a clever pun.Sadly, I waited too long to decide and although the elephant was delivered as promised and on time, it arrived without its trunk. Therefore, not only would it be unuseable to bear rings, it looked more like a boar than an elephant. Consequently, I could not use it for the gift exchange.So, why five stars? Dispite the damage, the ceramic far exceeded my expectations! It was beautiful..or it would have been had it its trunk! There are delicate design patterns on the elephant and the glaze was an off-white that was stunning. Therefore even if the elephant arrived intact, there would have been no way my wife would agree to give it away anyway.The other reason for five stars is that I was able to return it for a refund without any objections -- I just clicked a few buttons and dropped the piece off in an Amazon locker. It was so easy.Therefore, I highly recommend this vendor and this product even if it comes in pieces, you'll have a piece (peace) of mind.

Adorable little piece! I bought it as a ring dish to keep next to my kitchen sink for when I wash the dishes. The colors are exactly as shown and it looks very nice. I know other reviews have said that they’re piece arrived broken. Thankfully mine did not, but I could see how it would happen. The trunk is very thin and fragile. I don’t even like to put my ring on the trunk for fear of snapping it off. I just place it in the dish below.

I was really looking forward to this item since I always lay my rings around. When I received it, the box was very big for such a little item, which caused it to bounce around all over the inside of the box. The packaging was horrible, the box itself wasn't even completely sealed and the item was only wrapped in a small amount of bubble wrap. After opening it, the trunk of the elephant was completely broken off.I'm so disappointed because the item is so cute and if it wasn't for the bad packaging and broken piece, again due to poor packaging, I'd love it and it was exactly what I wanted.

This little ring holder is SO CUTE! I put it on the windowsill behind my sink and it fits perfectly. My one complaint is that the first one I got was in bad shape and with as protected as it was in the box and the type of damage there was, there is no way it left the warehouse without someone KNOWING it was broken. The metal in the truck was completely bent backwards and there were missing chunks of ceramic (or whatever material it is). However, the replacement came quickly and I’m very pleased with it. It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but it’s so cute that I don’t mind. It is fragile though so be careful with it.

I bought this little guy my freshman year of college and I just graduated this spring. It has been there for four years of moving in and out of dorms and took it like a champ. I never took the time to wrap it up or anything, I just set it on top of towels or something somewhat cushiony and never had a problem.I did break it my first summer home by knocking it off my night stand; the trunk split at it's thinnest point and I was mortified (entirely my fault, nothing to do with the quality of the product or anything). It was a clean break, however, so all I had to do was dab some super glue on there and line it up and it was good to go. Most people can't even tell the break is there. I've also knocked it off a few more times (I'm a klutz, honestly) and it hasn't broken again.When I purchased it I didn't think I would have it long term but I quickly came to adore it and believe it is something I will hold on to for a long time. It adds character wherever I put it, it gets lots of compliments, and it also fits my personality perfectly. It's also quite strong for what it is. I love it and would definitely recommend.

My gf loves it. Now she finally has a place to put her rings, And tiny earrings. It's pretty nice looking, small and doesn't take up much room. The long thin trunk seems fragile, and a drop might break it. She has a couple elephant pictures in our room and this ties it in nicely. Only negative is you need to take all the rings off to get one at the bottom, but because of the design it's understandable. She didn't want a big jewelry tree

I bought this because I wanted something uplifting and cute to put on my nightstand to hold my morning pills. It matches my room decor, and it always brings a smile to my face. It's very well crafted with beautiful detail. I really like the colors it's painted with. The little smile on the elephant's face is adorable. It's the perfect size to hold a few pills. I think I'll end up buying one as a gift for my mom soon too.
