Proximity issues.
Great little gadget and handy to have in your pocket. The one thing I would say is you have to be right on top of hidden gear to detect it. Thorough nook and cranny sweep needed to be sure you’ve found everything there is to find.

Compact
So I've not found anything that shouldn't be there with it yet but I did test the laser with a known secret camera device and it worked. Charges via USB C. Documentation was a bit minimal so have dropped from 5 to 4 star. Eventually figured out that the red filter to protect you from the laser slides up and could use it properly. It packs nice and small. Only decided to get one after seeing some rather creepy videos on YouTube where people found hidden cameras in their hotel rooms.

Lovely piece of kit
Recommended for all sorts of people, this kit impressed me and as an electronics engineer that's not easy. Virtually everyone will find a use for it and for me in the 21st century it's a must have. Go buy one, you won't regret it.
