If you are looking for a bar mat, this is great. Doesn't slip, collects small spills, and is easy to clean.

I went through several drying mats and were all mostly okay. However, this mat has a deep enough reservoir to allow the dishes sufficient airflow to completely dry without touches water. Other mats simply had too shallow of a reservoir, and while they would eventually allow dishes to dry water remained on the surface above the ridges allowing the dishes to always sit on water. This mat excels here. The stickiness of the mat allows it not to move unintentionally, which I like; however, the mat doesn’t create a solid seal to the surface and allows water underneath the mat. Every time I clear dishes I have to dry underneath this mat and the stickiness of the mat isn’t that easy to manipulate, so the sticky texture has some pros and cons.While I like this mat very much, I’m still searching for a better mat that doesn’t allow water underneath the mat. If you’re looking to simply house appliances on this mat, then I’m sure it’s fine. For a real drying mat though you may wish to keep searching.
