I wiped down the walls with isopropyl alcohol (you know the kind you get in the first aid aisle of the grocery store) before putting up the decals and I think that is the key for them to stick and stay put. Also, pressing the decals from the center out repeatedly until they're completely smooth and adhered. Isopropyl alcohol dries clean, whereas soaps can leave a film, which could interfere with the decal adhesive. I did test a corner of the wall to make sure the alcohol wouldn't discolor the wall. Always best to check!I have lightly textured walls, but I can see with heavily textured or bumpy walls, it would interfere with the decal sticking.After wiping down the walls with alcohol, I let them dry. Also, I made sure my hands were clean without lotion or oil that would interfere with the adhesive on the decals. Then I put up the decals and smoothed them thoroughly with my hand, smoothing from the center out, paying special attention to make sure all edges were secure. (If you get the edges bent up, it interferes with the decal sealing to the wall. I bent one edge moving the decal, so I just snipped off the tiny corner where I had bent it.)I love these decals. I especially like they come off individually, so that I could do my own design. I put some in my bedroom and some in the bathroom. I've had them up for almost a week and no sign of them coming off.They do peel off without peeling any paint, so I am very pleased. I don't know how many times they would stick again though.Update over a month later: The decals in my bathroom started peeling a little at the edges (probably from shower steam), so I took a school glue stick made with washable glue and dotted where the peeling was happening. So far no more peeling, although I imagine with ongoing steam from the shower, I may have to dab more glue now and then. The decals in the bedroom are staying with no problems.

Tips for application: Wipe down the surface first with alcohol, then attach the outer edge (only) to the wall, slowly un-peeling it from the the backing, while slowly moving a ruler along the surface for even application and control. Otherwise it will stick to itself and that is not fun to try fix. I've applied this type of wall decoration a couple of times now, trust me on this.

They look exactly same as shown in pictures which i loved it but they were small in size. Therefor i have to order 2 of them for the look that i wanted. They are not so super sticky so you need clear tape to hold them on wall permanently. Over all i love it... my living room looks so beautiful and my daughter also loved it soecially those birds.

I tried sticking it with tape but nope, it just keeps falling offAll in all, this was easy to put on and so beautiful after it was placed on the wall. However, I would have liked it more if it wasn’t dented when it arrived

Much easier to put up than expected. After reading all the reviews I was worried it would be difficult to apply and almost didn’t order them. It took me approx 15mins to apply to my walls. I bought two of them. The first one I followed exactly and the second I easily was able to wing it.

It’s terrible. I placed it on the wall, next morning half of it was on the floor & the ones still stuck on the wall are about to fall. Very disappointed with the quality!!!

These stickers just make me so happy. I've applied them on the backdrop of my desk in my home office and smile every time I see it! They were so easy to apply and rearrange any way I wanted them. Would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to add a little serenity to an otherwise boring view.

This looks gorgeous on my bedroom wall. It was a bit of a puzzle to put all the pieces together in the right places, but worth it. It came on a roll, so no wrinkles like some wall stickers I've bought elsewhere. There is a small picture in the corner so you do have something to go by while piecing it together. It is staying in place, no problems.
