Good quality and challenging. It is good it comes with instructions or it would never be solved. Haven’t shared the instructions with anyone so when they try to have a go and get frustrated, I put it together when they are not looking. It makes me look very clever.

Great fun

The wood is of great quality. There's no sharp edges or splinters poking out, that hands might catch on. One thing I did notice straight off, especially as it arrives in its finished state, is that some of the lighter cubes, look like dark ones. The instructions state that it needs to be constructed in a chess board pattern i.e. black, white, black, white. This makes it confusing and whilst I appreciate that wood varies in colour, the selection process needs to be better.The common shape of four down and one across on the second cube, was what stood out to me first. As the pieces all have good sizing, it's easy enough to slide them in and occasionally, wiggle the pieces into place. As expected, the puzzle is challenging with the number of pieces, but the solution is provided, if needed. Overall, I'd say it's good for those that like re-arranging and organising. Plus, if it's bought as a gift, it will certainly keep the recipient occupied, as long as it's their sort of thing.
