the generic Chinese diesel heater you want
This kit came with all the parts expected, and the heater functioned as expected on startup. I've been running it for 4 days and it works well. There is a new-heater smell with these, and now after a few days of use it's almost impossible to detect. It's not offensive necessarily, but very noticeable the first couple days. I didn't use the green fuel line it came with, and recommend replacing it with the clear/whitish hard line commonly found for these. The muffler this came with was especially lightweight, and I used a slightly heavier one (if they do anything anyway). I recommend using 10AWG wiring, and even possibly cutting the included 12AWG red wire as short as the black wire and rewiring the fuse in the circuit somewhere.

Hard to set up
This came with no instructions and is all in metric, so it was difficult to setup. Also it drains batteries so fast that you will need to run a generator at all times to keep it going

Pretty cool little thing
Using it to help heat a 12x24 garage and it does surprisingly well. The remote works from the house only wish it would turn fully of and not burn fuel at lower temps but other then that it is a really cool litte machine

Replaced our webasto 5000
Same footprint as our webasto 5000 so quick easy replacement. Not quite as powerful but still heats our 43 ft boat pretty well. Very impressed.

Get ready to return and try a 2nd or 3rd one.
I installed the heater, turned the power on, and the fan came on right away. This should not happen. When I pushed the on button, the fuel pump never came on and the controller showed an 06 fault code. I know it's not the controller, or the temp sensor, or the wiring harness, because I tried swapping them with my other heater and had the same result. Must be a problem with the control board in the heater or a wiring mistake from the factory.
