I read the reviews before buying and using...did not press hard while using so the knife wouldn't break...still sharp enough to get the job done. Those blades are incredibly fine, so I don't know how much use you can get out of each one before they break or dull, but my experience was a good one.

Chipping , on painting etc

I bought a pack and took it to work. I gave one to each nurse in the unit. Within a couple of hours, some nurses from different units came to me and asked if I had more.The product looks nice, colors are fancy. I especially like the porcelain blade because it's not going to get rusty when you wash it or wipe it with an alcohol prep pad.Now I'm ordering two more packs because the entire hospital staff is after me.

I suppose there is a learning curve to use this for intricate cutting. It could be that I’m heavy handed, but I had difficulty getting them to cut patterns from ephemera books. They are sharp and do cut. I primarily use them to open Amazon boxes which is not why I bought them.

These are a great deal and you get 2 of each tip. They work well for piercing or scraping watercolor paper.

These are really good for cutting stencils out of tyvek for my Gelli printing

I couldn’t get them to cut. Then was embarrassed because I put them in gifts for a retreat.
