These clippers were recommended by vet nurse apparently they use them all the time, saves on expense of taking grumpy cat to the vets to remove mats, I have removed 3 mats with these clippers so far as my cat only tolerated me messing with her fur for short spell.

My ragdoll is building mats very easily despite a daily brushing and it's a nightmare to remove them. I have to sedate him each time to clip him otherwise he's too stressed and attacks the groomer or the vet. The vet recommend that I try at home to clip him. I purchased this one as it was not expensive and was said a very low noise. BEST PURCHASE EVER! I can clip my cat even when he's asleep on the bed and he doesn't care about it. I was absolutely stunned by the result. I don't give a full 5* just because it needs to be fully charged to be very efficient on big mats. Can only recommend !
