USB 3.0 90 Degree Motherboard Adapter 19 Pin/20 Pin Male to Female Extension Adapter L Turn Right Angle Socket for Desktop Motherboard (Down Angle PH19B)

I'm using this adapter with a Gigabyte B660I mini-ITX motherboard paired with a large CPU air cooler. Previously, the USB3 cable was interfering with placement of the CPU cooler fans and this adapter works perfectly to reposition that cable so as to get it out of the way. The black color blends in nicely with a blackout color theme and cables, and seems well made. I have no complaints.

Had the Fractal Meshify C case in my original build (MSI Z270 SLI Plus) and where the USB 3 connection was on that mobo was higher up compared to my new mobo (E vs SE). Because of how stiff the case connector is you couldn't have it go fully in and have the mobo fully seated on the case. This fixed it and now I don't have an issue, and the case IO is still working. I'll update this if I run into an issue but I don't think I will.

I installed an Aorus B550m Pro-P motherboard in an Asus AP201 case - great combo but because the USB header is at the bottom of the board and the case's internal USB cable was so thick it made installing fans at the bottom of the case unworkable, putting way too much strain on the header.After researching I bought this adapter. This was exactly what I needed, it completely changes the routing of the internal USB cable. Instead of making a turn along the bottom of the case I was able to use a different pass-through and easily plug down into the adapter. This adapter was a life saver and has been working perfectly.

Building a tight ITX build, needed someway to get the USB3 front cables to come in at right angles so I could hide the cable from sight. This was perfect for the job. Construction is good. It easily slipped into the motherboard USB3 header and stay tight. The Case cable slots in nice and easy too, and both USB3 ports are working at full USB3.2 Gen1 speeds.

Working as intended. Much better than twisting and contorting the cable to my MB.

The title to this review might leave you wondering: WHAT? But, the reason is that if your MoBo is a tight fit in the case, then this may put the USB 3.0 wirehead at an angle that won't work in the case. I have a mid-tower case (be quiet! Pure Base 500DX) with an ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero MoBo. It is a tight fit, and the SHANFEILU USB 3.0 90 Degree Motherboard Adapter cannot be utilized. It points the 3.0 wire out and down [in my case], and using the adapter makes the 3.0 wirehead hit the PSU enclosure, and it just won't fit: the area from the edge of the MoBo to the PSU enclosure is too short for the wirehead to possibly fit (cannot even bend it to fit). So, I'm sure it would have worked great, but I was unable to utilize it due to the tight fit of the case and MoBo. I gave it 4 stars because I use a similar adapter for the PSU cable and it works great (in the picture, it is right next to the RAM sticks).

Fit was as expected. Purchased this 90 degree adapter to overcome a very tight bend on a stiff cable. Due to the new position of the motherboard USB 3.0 socket; a straight in connection for the front header plug was near impossible. Some structural cage metal and it's supporting pillar were in the way.This adapter was a problem solver !
