Very pretty dress perfect for a Gatsby party. The fit was as I expected it would be, but be sure to read the size chart. Don't order your regular dress size; it WILL be too small, especially if you have any curves. I needed an XL in the bust and waist and a 3X in the hips. I took a chance on the 2X because of the large size difference between the 2X and 3X. It was a bit tight in the hips (expected), but some Jockey shaping shorts at Target helped. The waist was a good fit (a bit smaller than expected, based on the size chart) and the bust was huge (much bigger than expected, considering I only was going one size larger than I thought I needed AND I had on a padded bra). It was easy to take a few small stitches under the armpits and along the bust so the dress fit a bit better. The beading hid the stitches.I could have ordered a larger size to come closer to that straight 20s fit, but be aware that this dress isn't straight cut. Achieving that 20s fit will be difficult unless you alter the dress a bit, or if you are very curvy. If I had sized up to get a looser fit in the hips, it would have gapped and slipped off my shoulders in a bad way...not in a good "20s cut" way.The beading and fringe was decent quality. The beads and sequins are just glued on, so expect a few loose beads. I had to trim a few beads off, and also snip some long pieces of fringe, but nothing major.A tip: if you're going to a large party, don't order this in black or ivory. 95% of the other people there will also have dresses from Amazon and will pick black or ivory. I picked dark green and didn't see a single other person in dark green. This dress is beautiful in dark green (and it looks great with a peacock feather headband!).

If you order this dress you will not be disappointed! The material is really good and not thin but is light and comfortable. The beading and sequins were even more beautiful in person. It felt and looked like an even more expensive dress. I couldn’t have been happier with this choice.

I bought it for a Roaring 20's themed party, and it really fit the bill nicely. For the price, it was beautifully detailed, and I am happy with my purchase. The reason it's not 5 stars is that this dress looks best on an hourglass figure, and I'm definitely a little bottom-heavy. There was a tad too much room on the top, and the bottom was quite snug (not very flapper of me, I know!) But it was nicer than most dresses that were twice the price!

Before my purchase arrived she contacted me by email to make contact and to ensure that I was delighted with my purchase. The original dress I received was damaged and also too small. I am usually a dress size 14 or size L as I wear a size 12 skirt. I originally ordered the XL. Fanny kept in touch with me and personally ensured that I received a new dress in pristine condition and in size XXL. I am absolutely delighted with my beautiful new dress that fits perfectly. In addition, she did not want me to send the first dress back so that the next person would not get a damaged dress-that's extremely thoughtful. Not only is this dress fabulous and well-made, the customer service is also impeccable. I highly recommend this dress and the company. Definitely order up a size or two for the fit. Absolutely beautiful beadwork on this dress. Craftsmanship alone would warrant this dress to get 5 stars but the fit was just wrong for curvy figure. I’m a 38D and the chest on the XL fit perfectly but my hips caused the dress to fit too snugly. I had trouble getting the dress’s lining to fit comfortably and the lining stopped too short for me (I’m 5’6”). Maybe if the hips hadn’t been so snug, the lining would have been longer. Sizing up want an option because then the arm holes would gape. I ended up returning it.

im short and curvy at 4'9" 135lbs: 37 bust, 32 waist, 40 hips - please dont judge ;)ordered a M and it fits great! it's fitted without being too tight or too baggy or loose; i have a short torso so i took the sleeves up 3" with some rudimentary sewing skills ( you can safety pin it if you need to) and ended up cutting the fringe 3" from the bottom so it lands past knee for a more flirty and fitted look.the chocolate has a dark purple sequins and black beading. unexpected but I like it because it gives the dress a bit of dimension. the dress is surprisingly more expensive looking than you'd expect and I especially love that it's budget friendly. Wearing it to a Gatsby's event so i tried it on when it first came in ( looked great!) and tried it again a few weeks later because im now bloated from a period and i can already tell the dress will still look good and be comfortable.

OMG I can't say enough about this dress. I was so pleased with the quality. Thick material because of the under layer. Side zipper was perfectly hidden. Sequins sewn tight and covered entire dress. Absolutely stunning. Now about the fit (which was my biggest concern since I got the dress the day before my event), fit was as expected according to the sizing chart. I checked each of the categories prior to ordering. I am 5'4" and 130lbs. I tend to fall between a size 5/6 but am currently a healthy 6 (which is why i was worried). I have thick thighs and hips. I ordered a small and there was a little extra room throughout but it was tight enough to be smok'n hot. I did order a medium just in case and it was too big though I would have been fine with it if I had not ordered the small. I hope y'all enjoy the dress as much as I did. I plan to buy another color for next year. Oh- length was great too, the cut that everyone talks about landed several inches below my rear end. I had absolutely no issues with my bottom showing. The strings went just below my knees which is what i was hoping for.

Das Kleid fühlt sich aufgrund der riesigen Perlenanzahl relativ schwer an und ist gut verarbeitet. Es kratzt nirgendwo, lediglich ein Faden am Rock war zu lang und musste gekürzt werden. Mit einer Kleidergröße 38 und Körpergröße von 1,79 m war L etwas zu groß, aber ok. Ich habe mich in dem Kleid sehr wohl gefühlt. Vor allem gefiel mir die Länge, die bis über das Knie reichte.

Tolles Kleid- ein echter Blickfang. Einziger Punktabzug aufgrund der Fransen. Einige sind verloren gegangen. Optisch ist dies jedoch nicht aufgefallen.
