Decent light at fair price - need to be cognizant of where & how you install
I already have a few of the Baxia/Luposwiten lights which are smaller and diffuse the light. Decided to give these a try as they have more LED's. Because more is better, right? Depends. I put one above my sliding door, but when it turned on, some of the light reflected off the overhead awning and into the solar panel, which fooled it into dimming. It would become fully bright when I put my hand over the solar collector. I put the other one above my garage door, and it was brighter. At first I noticed that it didn't seem to pick up oncoming motion until up close. It picked up motion from the side better. However I put up one of the other type and it's pretty much the same, so I can't blame this product.I do like that it has a built-in switch rather than the switch hole, so it doesn't require a paperclip. Be aware however that means to turn it off/on after mounting you have to unmount it. Also, I think the head of the button may have been pressing against the wall slightly, not sure.Update: I finally installed it on a deck post where it would have good sunshine and not be covered. Lights up the patio nicely.

great addition to the yard
Holy bright lights!! These things give you a serious bang for your buck. They almost blinded me when I first turned them on. For their size and their price they definitely do the job. I actually want to buy two more sets. They have been placed in areas in my back yard should anyone come in at night to keep them either away or at least make them aware that they can be seen. I am happy with this for sure.

Easy to install and perfect for what I needed.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I absolutely LOVE these lights! I'm already planning to buy more! They are bright, very sensitive to movement, and charge well even in a shaded location andThey couldn't be easier to install, just 1 crews. I would give them 10 stars if possible. Even much better than we expected. Very easy to mount on the house. If you are thinking about these don't hesitate to purchase.

Bright, but not as bright as you think.
This is rated at 1640 lumens, which you would think would be bright, like you used to turn on the flood lights over the garage and play basketball in the driveway. But it's not, so don't think of doing that.Now...it is bright enough to make a dark area walkable and not as creepy. The beam angle is great, projecting ample light away from my wall and also along the wall for quite a distance (I mounted my light about 12 ft high and it illuminated the wall about 10-12 feet to either side of the light). Note that you won't be reading a book under these conditions, but if your path is pitch black, you will be very thankful for this light. I bought it to temporarily add some light to my store's exterior wall until I can get electricity run up there and mount a legit 8,000-lumen LED wall pack light.Cons: The light is cool white. Some of the pics in the ad imply a beautiful soft ivory glow, but the light is snow white, almost bluish. It is not a comfortable light you'd want for a patio party. I would guess the Kelvin temperature to be around 6000 (this is an eyeball guess--not a measurement). The manual on/off switch is on the back, which isn't bad unless you want to use the light for other things. For instance, this light would make a great porch light for a camper or RV, except for two things: 1). the light is cool white, which will attract bugs more than warm white!) and 2) its on/off switch is on the back, which means I'd have to unscrew the fixture from the RV in order to turn it off when I leave the campsite (otherwise, it will turn on while driving due to the motion sensor).Another thing that was short-cutted on this light is that there is a single mounting hole. Now, any person who has ever had to attach anything to almost anything knows that you don't attach it at one point! The screw is subject to loosen over time and it will become worse as the fixture starts to swing in the wind. How hard or expensive would it be to include a second screw hole, or multiple methods of mounting (e.g. a mounting bracket to allow for secure placement yet easy removal)?Noting that they cut corners on the mounting screws, my biggest concern is how long will this light's battery continue to work? The problem I see most often with rechargeable lights is the batteries are of poor quality. A high-quality battery should last for years. This one, I just won't know until I've had it a while. One problem I have noticed in the one week I've had these lights is that the light may or may not stay on for 30 seconds after the motion switch has activated. Sometimes it's just on for a second (literally), and sometimes for 1-3 minutes.I bought this product new, but when I received it, it was obviously a return. The inner packaging--including the protective film for the solar panel--had already been opened/removed on one of the lamps. This does not give me confidence that my lamps will work properly over the coming weeks. Time will tell, I guess.Pricing note: The full-price for my set of two lamps was $31.19 last week. This week, the full price is $36.99.

I bought several brands and these are the best!!
Best I’ve found!Easy to install, very bright, multiple light direction. Bought these at full price after the less led bulb version sold out during prime day and they are amazing! I bought several different solar led motion lights on prime day and these that I paid full price for are the best, ease, performance, and brightness.

Seemed like Great bang for the buck
Update:They worked great for the first 4 months. Then they started flickering and only working at about 10% britenessThen they both stopped working all together.I know they get more than ample sunlight as we are using them in FL.Really enjoyed them while they worked.Really disappointed that they both quit working so soon :(I like bying things that last and will gladly pay more (vote w/my $). It makes me feel like part of the solution to help heal our throw away society's mentality and ever increasing trash/pollution challenges.I am always fixing things most people would just throw away and repurposing things, so these breaking so quickly are a real disappointment.First review:So far so good.Got about a month ago.Pulled from box, left in sun for a day, hung them up, peeled plastic off photovoltaic solar panels and they just work.Hardest part was finding the best spots to mount them on my r.v. Did it after dark to find coverage of sensors and light wash.I will add Velcro on bottom of units to keep them secure for big winds and pull them down when we travel so they don’t blind any motorists. They seem to be molded and integrated really well to make a nice weatherproof tight and light package.Only negative (for me personally) is the color is REALLY cold white, and I tend to like the less harsh warmer toned light even on my weapons lights and flashlights as it seems like my eyes adjust quicker. If they keep working properly I will buy at least 4 more for other sides of r.v.
