The best brand for women of a certain age and shape
Maxine of Hollywood is my go-to brand for bathing suits that are modest, figure (read tummy) flattering and well-priced. The brand offers a lot of different styles and patterns. Returns are a breeze. I find the fit to be average. I wear a 14 at 5'5' and 157 lb. I am a pear shape with most of the weight in my hips and tummy.Other brands also help hide certain body areas but Maxine's is so well-priced you can get several bathing suits for just one of the other. I have had this brand for many years and it has held up well with elasticity and color. That said, I live in an area where we have a limited outdoor swimming season and I do not swim in indoor pools. So the suits have not had rigorous use. All in all, I highly recommend this suit and this brand.

Maxine improves leg openings!
I was delighted to discover that leg openings can now be tightened! Congratulations to the designers for making this improvement.

12 was too big the 10 was to small
I have 3 of these swin suits from past seasons, in different patterns, and they are all size 12. This order, the 12 was too bigs (very long and loose), and the 10 was much too tight (even hard to up). Something is wrong with the sizing!

If you know your size for a bathing suit, it fits. I already had a Maxine knew my size.
I go to an indoor pool at 3 times a week, the suit holds up to the chlorine. I own four and rotate them. Thanks! Nothing to dislike, received exactly what I ordered. Thanks Evelyn
