Elegant, solidly made and beautiful. Holds #4 cone coffee filters perfectly. I don’t understand the open top filter holders available, because the filters will all eventually get dusty. Not so with this model that keeps them nicely tucked away.

I so wish this worked for me, as it is attractive and sturdy. I'm not sure is the filter holder I received is defective, or if it was designed this way, but the filter holder insert is wide as the box - both of which are heavy metal - so it scrapes against the walls of the box when you lift it out or put it back in. I tried it several times and there is no way to use this without creating a loud screeching noise, which is not something you want to hear at 6am before you've had your coffee.

If you enjoy becoming irritated before you’ve even had your first sip of coffee in the morning, this is for you. When you pull up the wooden lid + basket part that the filters sit in, it makes an aggravating metal-on-metal scratching sound as it scrapes up and out of the main container. I don’t understand how Yamazaki was ok with this, they make so many other lovely products. Dealbreaker.

This fits nicely on the counter next to the coffee area. It keeps the filters clean. I was pleasantly surprised how heavy it is, won't be knocked over.

This is a nice product and I am ok with it. The only thing (and this is probably personal preference) is that I don't like when you pull up the metal scratches on the walls and that irritates me.

Decorative and sleek. It’s not air tight. I wish it closed more snug.
