He have tried Glue Traps, All Natural Flying insect killes that only migrate the flies from one room to the next. Nonstop pest control trying to contain these pests only to have them reappear a few days later as Flymeggadon.STEM Fruit Flies Traps have garnered the most favorable results. Shake the jar, remove lid and the seal, set it down close to the source of the infestation and walk away. Will last for at least 30 days. When it appears it is becoming less affective warm up the jar in a microwave for 15-30 seconds and place back at the location. Warming up the solution will increase the aromatics and attack the bugs again. When ready to discard simply replace the lid and throw it in your normal garbage. Because it is all natural apple vinegar based it is safe around pets, humans and save for the environment.I have tried the homeade apple cider vinegar soap solutions and never got these results.This is my second purchase and will continue to do so as long as my son wants his Guineas. This out beats anything out there for killing fruit flies. I had zappers going, sticky pads and special lights with sticky pad but one got them was this product here. The smell is worth it because I killed them all with a few bottles of this. It great value and good quality. Very easy to use shake open and leave it open. I highly recommend this product and it’s safe to use.

This works pretty well. While it hasn’t gotten rid of the fruit flies, there are far fewer. However, it doesn’t seem to last a full month before becoming ineffective, as the description promises it will.

It works, but the results are not immediate. As one other reviewer mentioned, you may have to screw the lid back on and shake it up to reactivate it. For the first few days, there is a vinegar smell, but I'd rather that than those damnable little flies/gnats. It took a couple of weeks to start really seeing a decrease. I'm a tidy housekeeper. I don't leave food out. But these things... they were here when I moved in. I've seen maybe one or two in the past week, usually after I've had the door open to accept a delivery. Lasts about 6 weeks, I'd guess. I'll buy them again if necessary.

MISLEADING LABELING/ ADVERTISING: My bad for not reading the small print in the first place myself. As you see from the pictures I included, the front of the jar in pretty white letters it says, "Safe for Use Around Children and Pets". However, the small print on the back under, "Precautionary Statement" it says, "Hazardous to Humans and Domestic Animals. Then launches into "Warnings". Last I checked pets are "Domesticated Animals" so how stupid is that! Side label says, "... scientists decoded the power of nature to optimize plant bothat it's rooted in nature optimized plant botanicals to effective and safely your family, home, + pets from pests*" (*when used is directed.)".Scientists have decoded the power of Apple cider vinegar and soap?? OK whatever?!? Top scientists yeah I wanna job there! Yet this is "Safe for Use Around Children and Pets" but "Hazardous to Humans and Domestic Animals..Won't be buying another Stem product again that's for damn sure!! Won't be recommending them to anyone else either!.Doesn't seem to be very effective. Labeleling says replace every 21 days. For price, could make your owe, admittedly stinky, receipe..Friendly update for those that don't like the smell, ever smell rotten food, that is what fruit flies go for. You're choice, keep rotten/rotting food cleaned up & all surfaces sterile clean. An ongoing job..Closing, in order to submit my rating, I had to select a "star" review. Got 1, would have gotten0. Pffff.

It works and yet it doesn't. The fruit flies end up just walking along the rim of the jar. Doesn't seem to last very long. I think the fruit flies are very smart buggers! They learn it's a trap!! I'd say, these are not worth the money. Make your own DIY traps.

Works well

We've had a heck of a time with fruit flies the last couple of summers. We've had to deploy a couple different products each summer to deal with these. One those products was Stem traps. These won't completely rid your place of fruit flies on their own but they definitely help. We had to use ultraviolet traps, product to pour down drains, and the Stem traps. Combined, they helped get rid of the fruit flies.
