Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner... Life: Recipes and Adventures from My Home Kitchen

A wonderful cookbook, in all regards. It is beautiful to look at, with gorgeous pictures of the each of the dishes. The recipes are appealing, use a limited number of ingredients, easy to follow and everything we have tried has been delicious. And then there is the added bogus that the book is fun to read. Missy is a great storyteller, whether talking about her life, or the background of a recipe.

Amazing cookbook & memoir aswell, Page 156 "Yes, i'm free" will hit close to home for ANYONE who cooks for a living. I alway joke and say most people when they feel down will read the bible or pray, but cooks come home and read cookbooks and chef memoirs. Reading about other chefs who understand what this life is like. The next day you go to work feeling inspired with a sense of hey i'm not alone in this.

I enjoy the stories and the backgrounds and the detailed explanations that some recipes have. As far as the actual recipes, many of them have a spice component which is not my thing. Of course, I can omit the spice but then I am not getting the true intention of the chef. Also, long lists of ingredients and/or instructions puts me off. I realize that's MY problem. My head knows that's where the layers of flavor come from, but I want quicker and easier. Also, I like each recipe to have a picture with it. I don't like to cross-reference to the picture section. And the font was too small (or my eyes are too old).

This cookbook is filled with easy to follow recipes that are delicious! If for no other reason...the 30 Clove Sauce is the BEST! Who knew certain ingredients went into some dishes that truly perfect a dish?? Thank you so much Missy Robbins for putting this together! My husband is a VERY picky eater and has loved everything I have made from this book.

I was disappointed that there were not more pasta recipes. Otherwise a nice book.

Great gift for my foodie daughter. Saw author on Late Night with Seth Meyers. The meatball and 30 clove sauce was demonstrated. Had to have it!

I'm not a good cook. The book was recommended to me. I didn't find it helpful for me!

This is my favorite gift to give! Everyone’s so happy to receive it. Gorgeous imagery and a delicious food journey.
