Great idea, short cables and no true off switch for the jump element let it down
We have a second car which doesn't get much use and when it does it's mainly short journeys which is hard on the battery. I fitted a new battery a couple of years ago (first one lasted 13 years) but live in fear it could die again when I really need it and whilst I have jump leads to use with a donor car it's a lot of faff to sort. I'll, be honest, I've not had cause to use this for jump starting yet but will update in due course (assuming it works as planned!). Key things to mention so far, the jump leads are pretty short and I'd rather have a little longer to position the unit where I want rather than in the immediacy of the battery itself. Also if you plug in the leads to the unit they are always live (indicated by flashing on the connector) this is the same whether the unit is switched on or off and makes me uncomfortable that there is a power source which cannot (seemingly) be shut off.

Compact in size and works great
I am really impressed from this little power bank that also works as a jump starter. It is really compact in size, pretty lightweight and comes with a nice storage box.I was pretty sure that this is not going to start any car as it is not that big in size like a normal jump starter.I needed to jump start a car and as my proper jump starter was too far away, I decided to give it a go and try this little power supply. The car that I needed to jump start has a 60Ah 640A battery. The jump started was showing 100% battery before connecting it and according to the instructions , you need to have at least 60% battery to be able to start any car. When I connected the jump leads the battery started dropping down fairly quick and it is like 1% every few seconds so keep that in mind as it is like counting back to zero and you don't have much time to waste.I tried to start the car and it didn't work first time so this is kind of normal thing.I went back out and checked the battery of the jump start and it was now showing 87%.I checked the cables and I did find bad connection on one of the battery terminals so make sure you check your connections at least 2 times to avoid mistakes like this.I went back in the car and tried again and after trying for few seconds the car started. When you are trying to start the engine,it does sound like it is not going to start ,but it does start after all.The battery of the jump starter was showing 71% at the end so not bad at all. When I put the jump starter back on charger it was charged for just a couple of minutes ,which doesn't really make sense so I left it plugged in for few hours after it was on 100%.The price of this jump starter is £56.99 at the moment, which is a great price for what you get.Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

Wasn’t what I expected but still great!
I ordered this because I initially thought it was a case for jumper cables - as my cables are a mess in the back of my carI was pleasantly surprised that this is in fact, itself, a unit to jump start your car. Very convenient if you live alone and don’t have a second car to hook up to.It’s easy to use and the power bank can be used to charge your phone which is great in long journeys.I have yet to use it on my car but it seems functional

Small & mighty
I was surprised unboxing this as it is small. About the size of a Nintendo switch, but feels sturdy and well made. I'm shocked that this will be able to jump start a car, and as of yet I haven't had to use it luckily, but I trust it will do the job!Torch is bright, and it even has Usbs for charging various electronics. This charged my phone well, and I'm super pleased with it. The storage case feels sturdy and good and robust, and keeps everything together & neat. Would recommend.

Useful to have
**UPDATE**I've used this a couple of times now and I've come to charge it today but it wont get higher than 49%. I've tried trouble shooting the issue, but I can't find out what could be wrong or why it's happened. I'm really disappointed. My car battery is really temperamental and often goes flat as I only use my car to drive short distances so it doesn't get fully charged (12 year old Ford C-Max). I have to carry jump leads with me, but there's been several occasions that there have been no other cars around to help jump start me!This actually works! The charging pack needs to be at least 61% charged to work, and you need to make sure you follow the (easy) instruction. You'll need to restart your engine quickly once it's connected but I just turned the ignition and the car started (I admit I was quite surprised considering the pack is so small). This a great bit of to keep in the boot of the car if you want extra piece of mind. I was able to restart my car without any assistance and on that basis, I would happily recommend.
