Worked perfect
This worked perfect for the project I was doing. I needed to repair 2 old chairs I had. It was the perfect width and was strong.

Works as intended.
Through heavy sitting we broke down a sectional. Added this webbing and completely fixed the sofa! Supportive seating, easy to attach! Exactly what we needed to repair the seat.

The upholstery strapping was exactly what I needed to repair a failing ottoman, was delivered very quickly and the quality was excellent.

My intent is use as a fire starter
Cut a short length . . . I cut 3 feet. In a nonstick pan I melted a thumb-sized chunk of wax and a similar amount of petroleum jelly. LOW HEAT!This absorbed nicely into the jute webbing. Using a stick I worked the bottom of the pan with the webbing to pick up all of it.Beeswax and petroleum jelly are utterly non-toxic, nearly flavorless and the combination is easily removed from the pan.Pan cleaned, the prepared webbing was comfortably cool and was rolled tightly. Once cold it stiffened up quite a bit and does not come off on my hands.Presto -- easy fire starter that is also water-proof.

Amazing quality
Believe it or not this match webbing in the ancient 250+- yr old settee. Not close but exactly. And the current (of 4 reupholsteries) was at least 100yrs old. I was worried about the strength but my fat but weights 310lbs and it seems ok so I left it on the bottom but replaced the back as it was dry rotted a little bit.
