When I received the lamp the lightbulb had broken inside during shipping. I was pretty bummed as I had originally bought this as a gift. I emailed the company directly and (no joke) within an hour or so I had received an email back that a new lightbulb was on the way! AMAZING customer service! Got the bulb within a day or so and the lamp lit right up! The controls on the cord let it be a very soft, dim glow or a very bright, radiant light! Lots of room to find the right brightness for you. The rock itself is beautiful! Noticed a couple other reviews said there’s were shabby but mine is better than expected, it’s perfect really. I’m sure if the negative reviewers had reached out to the company they would have made it right. Again,, AMAZING customer service. You get way more than expected for the very reasonable price! I’d highly recommend this salt lamp! I’m going to buy another one to have shipped to another friend!

So, after a truly exhaustive search and many hours spent looking into salt lamps for my bedside table, I settled on this one due to the good reviews. I have to say, the reviews are right and I do not regret my purchase. I have been using this lap for about 5 months at this point for your reference. In that time I have used it at various settings, for long swaths of time, and even forgot to turn it off a few times. The bulb is still bright and functional, the cord is still working, and the lamp itself is gorgeous. 2 things I like about having a salt lamp next to my bed: 1 I don't have to turn on a blinding light to be able to find something. I can turn the lamp up via the dimmer, look for what I need, and then turn it back down. 2. It's soothing! On is lowest setting (via the dimmer) it creates a soft glow. It gets warm (not hot) at its highest and creates a brighter glow. All in all after my exhaustive shopping around I am very happy and enjoy this each night. Cheers!

I'm really enjoying my Himalayian Salt Lamp. It keeps odors away. It makes a room cozier and more relaxing with the amber glow.However soon as I got it the electric cord that came with it died and I ordered a new one. I havn't had another problem with this new cord yet. I've had it about 3 months.Im very pleased with this purchase and will buy another one for another part of the house.

Beautiful and effective. Sitting next to this salt lamp for long periods (like while reading a book) seems to alleviate my respiratory symptoms associated with a prolonged cold/asthma... But who knows. At the very least, it adds beautiful warm and earthy vibes to my decor, while minimizing the need for harsh overhead lighting in the evenings.

That means it absorbs moisture in the environment. It is this process together with the heat of the lamp that makes Himalayan lamps good in cleansing the air in the room. However, if you only have the salt lamp absorbing molecules in the air and none of the heat from the lamp causing moisture to evaporate, your salt lamp should naturally sweat, especially on humid or wet weather.If your Himalayan salt lamp is turned off most of the time at such conditions, and it stays dry, we hate to break it to you, but you have a fake lamp. If the opposite is true, do turn on your lamp for at least 16 hours a day. This will not only fetch you the benefits from the lamp but also prolong its life. Your authentic Himalayan lamp will slowly dissolve if you just let it sweat days on days.”

I have no idea if salt lamps are actually effective but they do make a nice soft glow for night lights! We have a large one in our bedroom and now this smaller one in our sons bedroom and it has a nice long cord, clicker switch to turn on and off as well as a dimmer setting for lighter or darker glow. It doesn't overheat on his shelf and it helps him sleep in his own room unafraid of the dark but not kept awake by his actual light.

I ordered 2 of these, one for our bedroom and one for downstairs, and ended up ordering a third for our son’s bedroom. Each of them arrived intact and unbroken and the salt is very hard and sturdy. It sits on a nice wooden base that has a notch cut out for the cord so it sits flat. The bulb is easy to get in and out of the base and is held in by 2 wire pieces you pinch together to remove or replace the bulb.I like that is has a dimmer so I can have it at full brightness during the day and then turn it down at night when we are sleeping. When the bulb is at full brightness the salt gets nice and hot which is what it is supposed to do, it does cool off when the bulb is dimmed. It gives off such a lovely glow and is soothing to look at. It makes a great night light as well. I can’t really speak to any other health benefits because I feel like that is subjective, but I absolutely love the salt lamps and am so happy we bought them.
