Great addition to an art party! - I purchased these for my sisters bachelorette party so all of the girls could do a paint and wine activity. There were 10 of us so one pack was sufficient. I love to paint but would certainly not call myself an artist of any sort. Myself, along with all of the girls, loved using these. They fit adult hands well (they would work with children also) and made our activity feel a little more FANCY :D For the reasonable price, I think it added a great artistic feel to the party. These are well constructed and you don't need to worry about paint slipping off or leaking through like it may with a simple paper plate. Depending on the paint you use, and if you clean it off quickly you can certainly reuse these. As a result of the "wine" aspect, most of ours were left with dried paint on them, but again, for the price it wasn't much of a loss to toss the ones that were ruined. Each came individually wrapped. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to host a painting party! Review: Terrific little palettes! - I bought this pack of 12 palettes for my children, even though I only needed a few. I priced them elsewhere and looked at the local dollar store and couldn't find a better deal, so figured I could sell or give away any extras. Construction: They are made of shiny white molded plastic. Initially I was worried that these wouldn't work well with watercolor, since it tends to bead on shiny surfaces, and it did bead up a bit, but still ended up working out very well. If you do find you need more grip, you could simply take a piece of fine sandpaper and buff the wells a bit, which would give the paint more to grab onto. It also works beautifully with acrylic and tempura paints. Size: Simply perfect. Even though I have a palette of my own (3 times the price!), I ended up snagging 2 for myself because they are just super handy to hold. My children (5, 9 & 11) also find that it fits perfectly in their small hands. The bottoms of the molded wells allow the palette to sit flat on the table, so you can also use it that way, which is great for a messy 5yr old. ;) Scent: I didn't notice any scent with these at all, which I'm glad for. Many plastic items have a toxic reek to them, these do not. Shipping: I chose to buy mine from desertcart "used", to save a few dollars and I figured, "They're going to be covered with paint, anyway, what's the risk?". They ended up arriving in perfect condition, each in their own sealed plastic bag, never having been opened from what I could see. If you want to take a chance, I suggest going that route! Pictures: I've uploaded several pictures in the customer gallery here to show how well it fits in my hand and how paint reacts to the plastic surface. In the one that shows 2 palettes side-by-side, the left has Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolor paint and the right has cheap acrylic paint. The watercolor flakes up a bit after drying for a few days and can easily be washed off completely or reconstituted with water any time, however the dried acrylic is stuck on there forever (such is the nature of that paint). :P All in all - an excellent addition to our art room! Now I can stop covering all of my tupperware lids/random plastic things/scraps with paint. ;) Hope this helps! :)

Paint Palette
The 12 pack of paint paletes is a great purchase. I shopped around for something to use for my Girls Night In (Wine Glass Painting). This pack is a great value for the price. The palettes are large enough for a variety of paints, and have areas to use for mixing. They are a durable thick white plastic, and were easy enough to clean. At the price offered I wasn't too concerned if they were damaged in our art making, but they have held up very well, and were better than I expected for the price.

Great product
I keep these around for rainy days or whenever kids come around. They're really sturdy and great for kids. The flat rectangular spaces in the center are awesome for mixing and blending paints together. They're also easy to clean for multiple uses!

... about a professional artist using it but our kids love them. Great price so we bought a bunch
Not sure about a professional artist using it but our kids love them. Great price so we bought a bunch. Every time they have a painting project, they can use one and toss it afterwards. They are a little on the flimsy side but definitely strong enough for our light use.

We love these trays
We love these trays. The kids at the painting party took theirs home and parents loved that it's reusable. The kids loved it so much and said that they felt like artists. It added to the feel of the event.
