Great cycling shoe, defied my expectations!! Be realistic with what you're looking for however!!
First off, I got these for giggles to try and use them as a dedicated cycling shoe that works with pedal cages and flats, as to not wear into my expensive minimalist shoes. I come from the world of brand minimalist shoes and had low expectations (love my Xero's!!), but will say that these land quite close. The difference here is that the bottom is thicker and stiffer than your brand name minimalist shoe, and the toe has a much thicker reinforcement. Depending on your frame of mind or what experience you want from the barefoot feel, you might not enjoy the stiffness quite as much as a a shoe that conforms to terrain nicely. Now what does that have anything to do with cycling? The stiffer sole and hard toe are a big, accidental advantage with these shoes. My feet don't go numb from a concentrated pressure point on the pedal, like with the Xero's flexible sole, and the hard toe protects my little digits from being pushed into the pedal cage wires, thus no pain. The upper has the advantage of being smooth/minimal- nothing to catch on the pedal straps. Quite happy! The fit is spot on. Was fully expecting a buy and return dance to get it right, but when they say US10 they mean US10. They are just as comfortable as the expensive stuff. These may be a good intro to the joys of barefoot shoes.Aesthetics are subjective, but they look nice and unassuming to me. The overall quality is just shy of great - I see small bits of glue wandering around the lower portion of the shoes. Not much at all, but noticeable up close. Fine for beaters. The sole is lower quality and will not grip as well as higher quality rubber, so I wouldn't use these at a restaurant job or something like that, but it's acceptable. The upper breathes well during 90F+ activities. Was able to spray waterproofing coat and coincidentally was caught in a storm while riding, feet were dry when I got home!

Love. Love. Love.
I have exceptionally wide feet, and sneakers are a tough fit for me. After years of cramming my feet into "wide" shoes, WHITIN came along. Nearly all of my sneakers are from them, and the product keeps getting better and better. Their earlier versions had kind of slippery plastic soles. These soles are a big upgrade. These sneakers look sleek... so sleek that I ordered two more pairs! They are comfortable for walking and durable enough to run (I've used them for both), plus they breathe, which is also nice. Considering that some brands charge upwards of $130 for a similar pair, these are a great bargain!

Indoor use only, but very comfortable and a good value
These shoes are a great value for the money. As another reviewer stated, I'd put them about halfway between light canvas sneakers and slippers in terms of weight and thickness. No good for wet weather, rough terrain, or walking any distance (stretchy mesh upper with a very thin rubber sole), but comfortable and cool; perfect for lounging around indoors. They're also stylish and washable. The width of these shoes is great, but they do seem to run about a half size small (minus 1 star); just order up a half size and you should be fine. I would recommend and just bought a second pair to leave at work.

Great for the price
Comfortable, light, and don’t look like clown shoes. The upper is soft and hasn’t seemed to cause any irritation. I read in other reviews that you’ll have more room and a more barefoot feel if you take the insoles out, and I couldn’t agree more. With the insole, they feel like pretty normal shoes, or if you’re looking for a more flexible and flatter feel with more toe space, I highly recommend taking them out. The material of the upper can tend to grab hairs and dead grass pretty easily, but I don’t really use them much in the grass and they clean up well with a lint roller. I have received a few compliments wearing these, and they are by far the cheapest shoe I own. Traction hasn’t been an issue, although I only wear them casually or in the office, and have only had them during the dry summer months to test them. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to try barefoot shoes or just looking for a cheap option. My toes have been very happy with the extra space.

8 wide fits my 7.5 EEEE feet
UPDATE: I recently ordered a back-up pair of these. Now they are on sale, and I'm going to order another color. It's wonderful to finally have comfort. Thank you Whitin, please don't stop making these!I can't find women's shoes to fit my wide feet. Men's 7.5 EEEE generally fit if they can also accommodate my high arch. They are hard to find, especially when I want something that doesn't look too clunky. These shoes in men's 8 wide are they most comfortable things I've had on my feet in years. The wide toe-box in "barefoot" shoes has been my best bet in recent years, but I have purchased and returned an embarrassing number of them because they still cut off circulation to my pinky toe, and/or squeeze my high arches. That's not the case with these - they are comfortable all around. There are no seams to rub or pinch, and I can tie the laces just right for my high arches. They look fine. While not beautiful, they are innocuous enough to get by in most situations. What a relief to have found these comfortable shoes!

Comfortable
My first toe box shoes. Plenty of room for your toes, had to get inserts for arch support. 9 months later I have holes in them because of the soft rubber. Looking for an upgrade.

Excellent Fit, Feels Comfortable, Helps Balance
These inexpensive but well made shoes fit perfectly and as a senior, I feel more balanced and in control when I wear and walk in them. The extra room at the toes makes them super comfortable. They were an unexpected surprise because of the cost although I have another pair of this companies shoes and they are also excellent. I would have preferred not having ties on the shoes so I could simply slip them on - but realize that they are more securely on my feet with the ties. I will update in a few weeks as I check other reviewers concerns about walking on sharp stones and uneven ground.

Generically Comfortable
Shoe is comfortable, but not incredibly. Its certainly not uncomfortable, just average comfortable. The inner liner is not attached so distorts and folds when I remove my foot.

Great feel!
These shoes feel fantastic compared to normal shaped shoes. I was getting very stiff feet and had minor plantar faciatis from my boots and sneakers. Since wearing these shoes my foot pain has entirely disappeared! Would highly recommend these shoes, especially for the price!

Good shoes
My second pair of Witins , now that I have gone to barefoot shoes my feet and legs feel better. Better than when wearing the 250$ shoes with all the gadgets.
