Awesome
This foot file is awesome. It works really well and fast. I love how my feet feel when I get done.

Excellent files
These foot files are really nice, and the contoured shape really makes getting in to various spots (like between toes) very easy. They are really well made and the handle is also very nice to hold and makes using it much nicer on the filter than a flat file.

Rigid, curved surface, kinda pricey.
Pro:Curved surfaces makes it indescribably easier to use on multiple parts of the body/foot.Edges being a surface makes it super easy to get smaller more targeted grind spots, or reach places like between toes.Non-flexible (rigid) body makes it not flex on you so you can apply exactly how much pressure you want.Seems to grind dead skin pretty darn well, which I didn't expect just feeling it. (feels weird, not like it's going to work, but it does)Con:Not sure what's up with the color choices on the box, and the product doesn't match the style of the box at all. Purely aesthetic though.Only really seems to have 1 grit, but the raised bumps on the "coarse" side makes a world of difference.Kinda large/heavy for a simple callus grinder. (not great for travel?)Seems expensive for what it is. I usually only pay a couple bucks for a cheap pumice stone or callus grinder.Grind surfaces may separate from the body early. (they flex a little, but no proof that they fall off yet, I'm just making an educated guess that it will happen EVENTUALLY. But you can probably just glue them back on if they do.)Overall, ignore the box and determine if you like the color. I think it's neat but kinda flashy. As for grinding dead skin patches off your feet/body it seems to work pretty well. No telling how long it'll hold up, which is why the price is such a sticky point. At a couple of bucks any time my other callus grinder wears out or looks to break I just buy a new one. At this price point (essentially $20) I really gotta hope this lasts me YEARS or I'm going to be sad-face when it needs replacing.

Files the Ball of the Foot!
I got this for one reason - you can use it on the thin side to get that area on the ball of the foot between the big toe and the next one. I've searched for a long time to find something that will take care of calluses there, but all the other foot files are too wide. This one works quite well. I wish it only had files on the narrow sides and not the wider ones because it takes some maneuvering to avoid my toes, but I'm really just happy to finally be able to easily get to those calluses. This, for me, is not a one and done file. I garden a lot and need the ones that are more like a Microplane for my heels, and then finish up with these finer ones. This says it is made of stainless. Often when that claim is made the stainless is not the best quality and a magnet will stick to it. I was surprised that a magnet did NOT stick to this metal, so maybe it actually is the real deal. The handle is shiny and looks like it might be slippery, but it's not. It's tapered to be wider at the far end so it's easy to hold.It comes in a nice box suitable for gifting. The price may be a little high at $16.97, but I'm so happy with it I may purchase another.

Right tool for the job, a bit expensive
Summary: Previously reviewed a few different foot files; some fixed, and some folders (listed below), so will be comparing this fixed version by TIMESGATE to those.Observations: I was a little hesitant of the coarse cheese grater ONELEAF, so mainly used the other two. The most coarse file was much less for the WENXINTEK. The WENXINTEK has a push button, like a folding pocket knife, which locks the files into the handle. Two other handle colors are offered (champagne/gold, and blue). This one by TIMESGATE features four sides (three surface textures), but in a single handle (as compared to the three individual pieces of the ONELEAF.Recommendation: There are many different grits, as well as combination ones (I have one that is the file, plus a large emery board), so shop around to find the one that fits your needs. I find the best way to clean them is to tap the side (not the cutting surface) over a trash can, and that usually knocks out the dead skin from the cutting area.Pros: multiple grits, good grip on the handle, compact design.Cons: Cost (2.5x the 3-piece offering below); TIMESGATE only has two products, both foot files. Conclusion: At $20 rating this 3-stars (cost, non-specialty manufacturer).Related Products:Oneleaf Colossal Pedicure Callus Remover and Double-Sided Foot Rasp Foot File, Foot Care4.6 out of 5 stars 94 ratings$9.99 ($5.00 / Count)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09323HMKF/3 in 1 Foldable Pedicure Foot File,Professional Foot Scrubber Callus Remover with 3 Sides for Shaving Rough Dead Skin,Removing Callus,Corns and Smoothing Feet (Grey)Brand: WENXINTEK$24.90 ($24.90 / Count)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6C447NR

One of my Favorite Foot Files So Far
I've had dry skin on my feet and heels since I was a teen. I've tried the "Ped Egg", pumice stones, and other sorts of foot files. This file is my favorite so far. It's sharp like the "grater" styles, but micro-sharp, so to speak, and works well. The price is higher than inexpensive pumice stones, but it is well worth it, in my opinion. The handle and overall tool is high quality, ergonomic, and well-balanced. I used the side with the bumps for tough areas, and the sides and other main side for fine-tuning.I rinsed as I used it and rinsing seemed sufficient to clear it off. I'm a little concerned about leaving it out with its subtle sharpness. I won't keep it in the shower, but instead will air dry and store in the box it came in to use on pedicure days. If you live in a family with small children, I would be wary to leave it out as it could scratch delicate skin. That said, my favorite new pedicure tool! Highly recommended!
