Q: Can you use apps like google, youtube, and Netflix?

You can run many, but not all, Android apps available. I have found that about 1/5 of my Google Play "software library" is unable to be installed on this tablet, including several apps I'd really like to install. This is largely due to the Google Play Store, however, which filtered out apps which are not "recognized as compatible." You can always try "side-loading" any apps you can't get from the store. I've found that this works for three apps I've tried it on so far.

Q: Does it have night shift or similar mode to tint screen yellow? If so, how yellow tinted does it get?

The operating system, Android Go, is a "subset" of Android, and lacks a lot of features. One is the "night mode" blue-filtered display shift. It is probably possible to do this through a third-party app, but I am not familiar with any such app.

Q: Does this tablet have a case?

You can use any "generic" case for a 10" tablet. There are plenty of them out there. It will NOT leave the rear camera exposed, but apart from that, you'll be fine overall.
