It can be built up to quite a shine. The swatch on my hand shows only one swipe.Can easily be applied with a clean pinky finger if you don't want to pack makeup brushes.The case is the color of Hollywood red lipstick, the kind made famous by the stars and starlets of Hollywood's Golden age.Beautiful palette, in every possible way.And unlike most cosmetics, this product is made in the USA.

Lipstick made it okay, component is in good shape no dents, product not effected. Whoever the unit cart obliterated, no care in packing. Be advised when buying through Amazon this has been the experience with all my Besame products.

I was influenced from a YouTube video to try this brand. It was a complete disappointment. It was barely pigmented and the product did not last past hour 4.

The media could not be loaded. I love Besame, I've been wearing their lipsticks for years. I was very excited to see them release some eyeshadows.I picked the Shimmer Beige duo hoping it would be the perfect nude shade for my fair skin, and it is the best match I've ever found. I have many, many eyeshadow palettes, but finding a perfect base color to even out all the little dark veins on my eyelids has always been a challenge. It's perfect for using in conjunction with other palettes or on it's own for a classic cat eye look. The shadows are soft and very pigmented, even though it is a light shade it covers all those little imperfections and creates a perfect base. The shimmer shade adds a lovely highlight.The case is a very classy red faux leather, the size of each shadow is generous. I paired here with the Besame Cherry Red Lipstick. I love this duo and will definitely repurchase. If you are a lover of vintage style like me, I can't recommend it enough.

Packaging: This is one of those really slim cardboard book style packages (so environment friendly). It snaps into place really well. It is quite a nice style of packaging.The Product Quality. These colors are really subtle and perfect for someone who is looking to lift up a very natural look. You would likely still need a darker color to blend this in with so that you can do a variety of things. You could also just use the lighter powder as a highlighter.Use cases: You can use it to lift up the eyes, and in the inside of the eyes. You can also use it as a highlighter on the cheek bones over blush or bronzer. It would be fine for both of those. I'm an olive tone'd asian lady, so only the lighter color would be ideal for highlight for me. If you are much darker skinned you might be able to use the shimmer from both. It is also a very natural shimmer for a natural uplift look. The darker color would not really do much to darken for contouring unless you are extremely pale (NC10 in Mac Cosmetics).

This BESAME COSMETICS Classic Shadow Duos - Pistachio - Shimmer + Matte Eyeshadow Palette, Vintage-Inspired Green Eye Shadow Makeup Palette, Talc Free Eye Makeup Eyeshadow Palette comes in a cute, vintage-inspired compact. The shimmer in my duo arrived damaged, possibly due to the softness of the shadow. I was able to partially repress it.The shimmer took a few layers to build a satisfying color, but the matte has excellent color payoff. The colors blend smoothly together. The greenish-gold is nice for 1920s flapper looks.I do find that this eyeshadow starts melting off my eyelids fairly quickly. I need to use a primer to get it to stay for more than an hour or two.I love Besame lipsticks, but I am less impressed with this eyeshadow. I like the matte better than the shimmer due to the greater color payoff. The shimmer is a hair too subtle for me.

This small size eyeshadow palette comes in a really cute red color packaging. The sizing is perfect as you can have it in your purse or while you travel. It includes of only two shades, one darker and one lighter shade so you can easily create nice simple looks with them. I really like the colors and I think it’s a great combination for everyday natural look. The texture is powdery and they are pretty pigmented.

For my skin tone these colors do provide a nude eye color palette. The matte color becomes even more invisible on the eyelid.Applying the matte color to the brush makes a mess. You can kind of see it building up in the duo in the picture I provided. It only gets worse if you are not gentle handed. This doesn’t seem to happen on a noticeable scale with the shimmer color.I have not tried to blend them with other colors as I like a very simple gentle eye color. I have sensitive eyes and have a habit of rubbing it off after a couple of hours of application if I go very heavy with eyeshadow. If I keep application light and subtle, I’m less likely to feel it and smear it away. Sometimes, however, it’s not the makeup at all but all the allergens in the air. In this case I appreciate the lighter nude natural color also because it’s less obvious I just obliterated half my eye makeup by unconsciously rubbing my eyes.Since my makeup doesn’t last long I can’t comment on longevity. I always use an eyelid primer to help it stay longer. I didn’t notice any creasing in the few hours I had it on. The compact is very light and has magnetic closure. It would be easy to pack in a minimalist makeup bag or purse.
