Thel product is ok HOWEVER when the resin item has been created - it's extremely sticky. I have to sand the whole item down to get rid of its stickiness 😞

IMPORTANT NOTE: This kit DOES NOT come with colours/dyes for the resin. It doesn't say it does, but the pictures might imply it. If you are giving this as a gift you might want to include some.(I don't necessarily see this as a detriment to the kit, as the amount of dye needed is less than a drop per piece of jewellery, so including the correct amount would be difficult)This is definitely a kit of parts rather than a polished product. Things like the amount of time that the UV lamp should be used, doesn't match the timers on the lamp. However, if you properly read the instructions this shouldn't cause any problems.The instructions state not to add too much glitter or dye to the resin, this is quite difficult if you are letting kids do it. We did two sets of two of the silicon moulds in about 45 minutes. Pouring the correct amount of resin into the mixing bowl was one of the more complicated things, you just need to guess. Otherwise adding the glitter (and dye) was quite easy. You need to be careful not to mix in too many bubbles, but these were relatively easy to pop using one of the tools provided.Curing the resin was reasonably OK. I did 3x 1 minute on side 1, then popped the hardened resin out and did another 3x 1 minute on the other side. In theory the instructions say it should be done in just 3 minutes, but given this is just 6 minutes out of your day compared to 24 hours for a normal epoxy, it isn't really that bad. It was obvious on one of them that I had allowed too much glitter in to one of them as the UV hadn't gotten all the way to the bottom. A quick touch up with the clear resin and hardening that side and the recipient didn't notice.The kit comes with a good selection of glitters, some of the stickers seem too large for all of the moulds.The keyring surrounds (the gold things) are also quite easy too. A bit of sticky tape to hold the resin in and these are good to go.The resin is unfortunately still slightly tacky after being cured. However, it isn't sufficiently so that the child can't take the item away immediately and play with it. 24 hours later and there is no tackiness (although there might be fingerprints). The tackiness was significantly less when there was no dye added.

Wow I absolutely love this resin kit!!I can't praise this enough.I suffer with deep depression and I wanted something to keep my mind occupied while been productive at the same time and seeing a result and I must say this as done exactly that for me. The amount of things you get in this set keep you going so while one piece is setting you can be on with another set. I like the fact that your not just making on thing either I've made keyrings, earrings and necklaces so far. This is the ideal set for any crafty person out there, it is so easy to do and it comes with instructions that are simple to follow.The colours you get with it are vibrant and why not give it a go, creation and colour to brighten up your day, it certainly has mine.Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My sister has been using resin for many months now, and has even started a small craft shop selling her creations. However, she has only ever used the more conventional resin that requires her to mix the A and B bottles, and then wait a day for it to cure This UV resin though, is a different story entirely. It takes as little as 2 minutes to cure under a UV lamp (which is also included in this set), and can also be done in 20-40 minutes in just sunlight without the need for a lamp. This short time is much better and allows my sister to create more stock in little time. She can also get orders done at greater speed. The resin cures perfectly under the lamp, and it is rigid and ready to use. It is crystal clear and doesn't bend and my sister is over the moon with the quality and results. The added bonuses with this set are the inclusion of moulds for earrings, and necklace chains, and small added extras such as flowers and glitter. The set is great and is a must have for a beginner, and even those looking to expand their resin accessories. It is great quality and I cant recommend it enough. 5*

Smell free resin, tiny bottles but they do say that. Beautiful glitters and eyes. But the finish is sticky, and we had to revert to my sons light which shows as blue, this one shows white and half bulbs of other at same price.

Good kit to buy for beginners to see of you like it has a bit of everything

Kit intéressant pour un démarrage avec la résine. En revanche il faut catalyser plusieurs fois pour que la résine ne soit plus collante au toucher.Je l'utilise personnellement en complément de la résine époxy, pour une couche de finition sur mes créations. Jusqu'ici je n'ai pas été déçue.
