We’re super happy with this screen door. We like to have our back door open but our dogs have consistently burned through many a screen doors, and our type of door really isn’t conducive to a doggy door without spending a ton of money. This meets all our needs, was extremely easy to install, seems sturdy enough as long as it’s not abused (kids), and is idiot proof, meaning the screen automatically closes behind us (and the dogs) and seals itself back up.Cons would be I don’t see this working in a metal door frame since the tacks are pretty important.More tacks would have been nice but we have plenty laying around the house so no harm no foul (for us)And either a little longer, or maybe magnets along the bottom so it seals at the bottom. The screen will do a great job keeping out flying insects but will not keep out anything crawling along the ground. That being said, not really sure anything would, so probably less of a concern with the screen than of creepy crawlies themselves.

I love this screen. I can leave the door open now and I get a lot better air circulation in the house.The screen somes with velco to attach it to the door frame.* However, I live in an apartment and don't want to damage the paint, so I put it up with a couple of layers of painter's tape to see if that would work. It's been up a couple of weeks and so far so good. I may get some gaffer's tape that is closer to the frame color and use that instead.Per the directions I left about 1/4 inch at the bottom. I haven't noticed any insects in the house, but I may get a door draft stopper or gerryrig something else to lay across the threshold to stop insects from crawling in under the screen.You may want to check the center closure from time to time. If it doesn't close properly it can leave some gaps that insects could easily get through.I installed it by myself, but an extra set of hands would've made it easier.I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

There are some things you buy that just make life so much better and this is one of those things. We live in an area where the house temp does not cool off in the evening when the outside temps drop. We don't have screen doors in our area, and it was too expensive to install one on our backdoor, plus we have two dogs and needed something they wouldn't wreck. We also have a dog flap on that door that we still wanted them to be able to use. This accommodates all those things and we now get airflow without the bugs coming it. It always swings shut as long as we keep our metal backdoor open all the way. If we don't, sometimes the screen will stick to it when the dogs come in, but not often enough to be an issue.

I'll admit I wasn't too confident with my purchase, even with all of the positive reviews ... pleasantly surprised to find that this screen is every bit as good as advertised! Great instructions, plenty of installation supplies, and high-quality fabrication ... checks all of the boxes. I had it up in under 10 minutes, and it's been great ... so happy I can have my patio doors open! I highly recommend it!

This does exactly what it was meant to do. The magnets come apart and back together easy without having to finesse it. The sticky part where it hangs on the door only held for a few weeks allowing gaps where bugs could enter. I just used push pins to secure it and all was good again. Great value for the price.

We had a regular sliding screen on our patio door but the dogs couldn’t come in and out freely and ended up scratching the screen out. Ordered this, recommended by a friend. Husband put it up in about 10 minutes. The screen took about a day to really straighten out. But now the magnets click closed every time. The dogs have figured out how to go through it and I can leave the patio door open without a bunch of bugs coming into my kitchen.

This is good! For some reason I haven’t been able to get it to close when we walk through it, and I have tried moving the screen off of the Velcro a little bit to get the top to actually come together. It works when I initially fix it, but then it seems to shrink with the heat and I have to fix it all over again. Pretty annoying-Maybe I’m dumb though, so I’ll keep tinkering with it until I get it to work and stay working. It’s great quality, and the magnets are strong :)

My pup grew up with one every year. It is usually myself carrying something in that get catches and rips it. Or a grand kid wants to stand in the middle and pull the sides open and close..... With the price it is easy to replace if damage does happen.
