Works!
I tried to change out the bad sensor with the new one. Yikes. The sensor is so buried under the intake manifold, i could not find it. I ended up taking it to a garage. it took them 1.5 hours to replace it. If I had followed through with changing out this thing, I would have needed a chiropractor afterwards.Just up on jack stands is not high enough. The car has to be up on a lift to work on this. It's been a few weeks. This new sensor works fine.

It Fits but my CEL still came on soon after driving
The sensor was a match on my 2002 Honda crv, fit perfectly but was not compatible in terms of doing what it was supposed to do as a knock sensor, it didn't get rid of the CEL, and it was also lighter compared to the genuine one I later purchased for just under $100 bucks and that took care of my CEL and power return, climbing the hills and even slightly better shifts. so long story short it doesn't work. go for OEM

It is a defective item
This item came and it is defective. I can not tell whether the one that came to me is defective or in general this will not work on a Honda Accord 2004.How do I know?I installed the sensor and cleared the code. The check engine light came back almost immediately.I felt I probably had made a mistake during the installation. Not high enough did not put the wire back correctly, etc.Removed and reinstalled it, making sure it was tight, but not over tight. Made sure I heard the "click" when putting the wire.Cleared the code and... the same thing the check engine light came back immediately.Put my old one back cleared the code and no issues so far.Looking at this sensor it seems identical to my old one. I can not tell whether there is an issue with this sensor for my Honda, or this particular sensor is defective

Junk.
Worked for about three weeks, check engine light back on, same code. Could have been sweet for the price. Too good to be true. Spend more, get better or pay twice the labor. Or do it twice like me. Just missed my "return window" by 8 days. $17 wasted. Amazon, do your customers a favor and extend the return procedure for broken or faulty product. Not a typical return.
