I've been on Amazon for a long time... Long before Jeff bezos was the first man ever worth 200 billion dollars! No seriously, this is the easiest review I've written so far. If you're looking for this then you do a lot of shipping, get rid of your tape gun and give this a try. It's unbelievably easier without the infuriating aggravation of the tape getting bound up or wandering off track. There's nothing awkward about it and here's the best part... It's such a specialized item that the Chinese have not ripped it off and made it out of tin foil for 1/10 the price. It's already cheap and it works beautifully. The best part is you could practically park your car on it It's that sturdy. This is reminiscent of 1970s office equipment which was made out of actual steel. Give this item a chance, if you don't love it, it's prime, return it. You've got nothing to lose.

I moved recently and had dozens of items that needed to be individually wrapped in bubble wrap. In years past I would wrestle with a tape gun to tear off just the right amount of tape to go around the bubble wrap. But this tape dispenser made the job incredibly easier. After wrapping an item in bubble wrap, I'd just reach up and tear off the correct amount of tape. I got the dispenser with the suction cups. After a couple hours use one of the suction cups tended to come loose. Just put a little dab of water under the suction cup, push it back down on the table and you're good to go. Be careful of the blade, because it will cut you!

This is a well built unit for the cost and stable suction power. Developing anther shipping station for my wife business and currently using same model. I have to reorder another one (this unit) because of quality and cost value design.

Suction cups are rather useless - plan on screwing this down. The bolt that adjusts to holds the tape in is easily cross-threaded...the first time I went to change the roll, I couldn't get the bolt back on, this unit is rather useless without and the bolt is inaccessible to be replaced. The cutting blade gets gummed up easily and difficult to clean. I'd skip past this and find something else. I scheduled a return.

I've had it for almost a year, works great, sturdy, just taped it down to my table once and it's still secure and convenient.

Dispenser works great with the exception of the suction. Cups do not stay adhered to any surface. Although there are pieces to mount to tape dispenser, I needed it to be able to be moved so that was not an option for me. Also, no guard of any kind on the blade.

This tape machine is so simple in its design. I like the fact that it has mounting holes to mount vertically or horizontally on a wall and also holes for table top mounting. I think this design aspect is well thought out.The suction cups don't suck. And, that's a bad thing. Suction cups need to suck in order to do their job. These suction cups fail within minutes of application on a Formica topped desk. Maybe they stick better to glass or metal?The tape roll is held in place with an allen bolt. This just seems like a design flaw because I have to have a special wrench to remove this bolt to replace the roll of tape. I think the allen bolt should be replaced with a thumb screw, wing nut, or other fastener which does not require tools.Would I buy it again? Probably.

Love this tape dispenser, love how you can either mount it to a wall or keep it in place on the table with suction cups. No issues with it cutting thicker tape. Highly recommend this product!
