Rayovac Extra Size 312, 60 Hearing Aid Batteries, Made in The USA w/Battery Holder

I would always scour my Sunday paper sales flyers for hearing aid batteries on sale and wind up paying about a half a buck per battery and be happy. It just never occurred to me to check for something so cheap online and I was just flabbergasted and gobsmacked to see them so much cheaper on Amazon. Before I started shopping sales for them, my aids provider was giving them to me free about 4 packs at a time but the firm changed hands and they would not honor the free battery deal anymore. That had something to do with me not really shopping around that much other than the drug store flyers. I am very happy with these batteries too. They definitely last longer. Note, that what they refer to in their listing as a "battery holder", is nothing more than the standard circular celluloid packaging with the little "trap door", opening on the back side, enabling one to dump out one single battery at a time. Perfectly serviceable, and easy to use, but, what is the alternative? Single batteries all dumped loosely in a box? All batteries I have seen in my life come in some kind of a dispenser package. This kind of advertising hype peeves me. It is like the stupid car insurance commercial on tv now that advertises that one only pays for what they need. Grrrrrrrr. Everyone that gets car insurance decides what they want for coverage over and above mandated minimums. The batteries still get 5 stars though.

Batteries are great , long lasting, good price however beware of free battery holder. Two times I ordered I received a free Ray o Vac battery holder. One for myself second gave to a friend. Third time I ordered batteries decided to get the battery holder again for another friend. This time holder was garbage, too hard to open looked like it would only last a month if that. Threw it away and ordered separate Ray o Vac holder from another vendor. Will order batteries from Local battery again but only batteries not a holder.

A review for Rayovac Extra Size 312 hearing aid batteries: This is the first time I've reordered any brand of hearing aid batteries. I've tried several other brands over the three (3) years I've been wearing aids, and I've liked these the most, mainly because they've given me the most longevity of them all. These last me six (6) to seven (7) days, while the others would go about five (5).Don't be confused regarding the labeling. The brand is "Rayovac Extra" and the size is "size 312." It doesn't mean it's an "extra size 312" as if it's some larger version of the 312. Based on my experience with the longevity, it may signify that they give you some extra life.The only negative to me is that the adhesive tabs that are on each battery are smaller than others I've tried and can make it a little difficult to remove them with guy fingers.These were delivered several days earlier than was estimated at purchase. I had chosen the free ground shipping.

Rayovac batteries give me the same battery life under constant use as Energizer Bunny batteries at a better price. I've yet to find hearing aid batteries for 310 hearing aids that last as long as these two brands. I consider the Rayovac the best value for the price.

These batteries are superior compared to a top named brand battery that I used for over 10 years. The longevity of my old batteries had declined from 7 days to 5 days or less. Over the last 6 week the Rayovac batteries have delivered an average of 8 days longevity. Highly recommend them.
