Easy to install after I looked at the first picture on the reviews. The recliner works perfectly. Long story short my sister was going to toss it. I took it off her hands because my father used to take naps on it. Now you can take naps at my house whenever he passes by. Took 15 minutes only because of my OCD. The component are great. All aluminum, I don’t understand why La-Z-Boy didn’t do it from the beginning.

This kit was easy to assemble and made the footrest on my power recliner work again. Price was half of a used part on Ebay. Directions were OK. Just take pics before you remove old parts. As others have said the hole did not line up on the part that sits on the cylinder. Hole was rotated on cylinder. Just put block on cylinder, install pin, rotate 1/8 turn until block is square.

I wish the instructions were more detailed, they were hard to follow , I would like a video to reference,

The media could not be loaded. I have just finished the repair. Probably took an hour. The parts come with instructions, probably machine translation but the are 2 B&W photos that don't need translation. The parts put the chair manufacturer to shame. Used a screwdriver to break some remaining plastic of the old parts and an allen wrench to install one of the pieces. Job can be completed with very limited profanity. I am impressed.

Excellent metal replacement parts for plastic la-z-boy parts. Easy and straight forward install. If you have some grease at hand, put a little bit on the plastic bushings and they will last a long long time.

So while I am skilled in technology (26yrs in the field professionally) I struggle with visual paradigms and shape arrangements for example, simple things like making knots or crocheting even at the most basic level.The pictures and lack of orientation and the fact that none of the parts said "this side facing floor" as the instructions said they do or an installation video make this product a royal pain to install which is why it's 3 stars. My recommendation is post a video and don't skimp on making good instructions...they are part if the customer experience which is dreadfully lacking.

A bit tricky to figure out but once that was done these parts installed in a short time. Took me two hours to research and figure out how the replacement parts are installed. Then it took thirty minutes to install the parts. A very nice kit of parts.
