works well but ends are tough to get to release when you want to disconnect. heavy duty and love them other than that. wanted 8 gage for better power transfer

Genuine copper 10AWG cables and connectors. Hooked them up to my solar panels to test them, and they work good.

Great 8awg Mc4 extension, but brittle plastic tool.
Great MC4 extension pv wire but the orange tool is made from junk plastic, broke in 5 sec first time I used it. Now I have no tool to disconnect.Switch to polyurethane, and will last for years and years with much happier customers. Fix that and you have 5 stars.Maybe you could send me a half a dozen of those tools so I have something to disconnect with.

Works great to place panel further out
Purchased this to extend the reach of our 200 watt solar panel when camping. We use this with our popup camper so being able to setup the camper in a shaded area and then place the panel in the sun is great. Also, the sleeve around the cables seems quite durable and keeps the dirt and rubbing wear off of the wires.

Just what I wanted
It is good quality and is just the right length for me. I've been using it for about 2 weeks with no problems. As I expand my solar panels I'll probably buy another.
