SMITHSession MIPS

Love the graphics here- I mean really, why get a solid color when you could buy this funky one? Sadly, my head doesn’t fit in Smith helmets. I’ve tried medium and large bike and ski helmets from Smith and they just don’t fit my 24.5” oblong head. I guess I’m narrow through the temples since this large fit beautifully lengthwise but left at least 0.5” on each side when tightened. Plus, the shell looked massive on me. Returned this one along with the many other brands I’ve tried. So far the best fit has come from a medium Fox Speedframe MIPS, but even that one isn’t as good as my current 2016 Cannondale Ryker I’m looking to replace. My quest continues.

I bought the same helmet for my girlfriend and I. I find it to be a very comfortable helmet, not as comfortable as my $400 raise helmet but this is not a $400 helmet. I love the safety of provides and is visually stunning. My girlfriend has long hair and finds that it gets stuck in the MIPS System pretty regularly so now where is a cycling hat underneath it and just loosens the helmet itself. Overall for the price it’s a great helmet

Matte sage/red rock is more of a salmon color which is kind of a bummer but the helmet is great

This is shaped for more of a round head, and unfortunately I’m more of an oval so I couldn’t keep it. I’m still bummed about having to return because it was light weight and looked awesome.

I have used this helmet for over two weeks now with not even a slight complaint. It is very lightweight on my head and the fit is fantastic. The available colors were great. I have been a very avid road a mountain bike rider for decades and have used many helmets over the years. This Smith's Helmet has been the most expensive helmet so far, but it is worth it in the long run, and especially it having the MIPS System makes it even more protective from a fall from my bike.

I went for the bold and easy to spot orange. nice and comfy, breathes well makes me feel safe.Looks a bit wide on the sides where I thought it would be slimmer. Not a problem though as it is there for my head more than it is aesthetics. Super happy with it.

Needed a MTB helmet for my Giant XTC MTB excursions. Tried some Giro and Fox brand helmets. But I wasn’t completely satisfied with those . Got the Smith after watching a YouTube video on Bikepacking excursions.The cyclist had a Smith just like this one and explained how it had large vents and was. very comfortable with good adjustability. So I had to give it a try. I AM SO GLAD I DID… It’s a keeper…I will appreciate the larger vents during the summer as well.

Got the largest they had. Fully expanded the adjustable dial.Wish it was just a wee bit larger to fit my head while wearing a sweat band or winter head gear. It goes on a perfectly when not wearing any head cover.

Muy buena relación precio-beneficio, el casco llena todas mis expectativas.

Fit great like that the visor is adjustable just wish I could buy an extra set of pads for it going to see if after market padding will work
