Their Reign (The Rite Trilogy Book 3)

I love a good dark romance andKnight and Zavarelli are two of my favourite authors. I have one criticism though, please, please stop the overuse of the word 'irritated ' try annoyed or vexed or displeased etc. I would recommend this trilogy to anyone who enjoys genre.

This was a simply wonderful continuation of this series as I have been looking forward to this book being released, the interaction between Judge and Mercedes had become so very much more than either of them ever expected and now that she had discovered she was pregnant and she knew she had to leave him and care for her family alone.Santi and Ivy had been far more supportive than Mercedes had ever anticipated and even though she knows their relationship will never be the same it is at least moving in the right direction. Her two friends Georgie and Solana have been what have kept her head above water along with the inimitable Madame Dubois who is get-away driver, kidnapper and in her spare time palm reader and fortune teller.Judge has been outed to Santi by his mother and their Brotherhood in the IVI Society is at an end as he feels that he betrayed him even though Mercedes has told him that she loves Judge and the fact that he cannot marry her is not his concern, however as her older brother he feels responsible.As her pregnancy progresses there are plenty of surprises along the way and the threat against her life is once again drawing near and now it seems Vincent Douglas is also aware that she is pregnant and he wants his pound of flesh.This is a very highly charged read, the interaction between Judge and Mercedes is so sweet and painful and yet you hope they will find a middle ground. Georgie is still hitting on all of the security men he finds attractive and Solana is as irritating as possible where Judge is concerned.However, she would not be without her two dearest friends, if only Judge could be in her life but this is an impossibility or so it continues to seem.Read this wonderful book, I guarantee that you will not be able to put this book down until you reach the end, if you are any thing like me another late-night read, simply fantastic.I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader CopyI thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

I have no words for how much I did not want this book to end.I love Mercedes, she is a Queen.I read the previous books, and it covers these 2 points about her:A villain getting her redemption and a misunderstood character.She is so much more, she is a survivor and caring. Despite her tough armour, she is stronger and more loving than a lot of people like to admit.Truth be told, the way people treated her really rubbed me the wrong way. I don't care who it was and even if she was wrong.I am Team Mercedes all the way.Judge!! I have no words to describe him.He won me over. He finally grew up and learned that he deserved love.This book is about him grovelling and I appreciated every minute of it.I did feel bad for him, but he needed to be humbled.I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down!

Their Reign is the fantastic conclusion to The Rite Trilogy and I couldn't of wished for anything better for Judge and Mercedes, my heart is bursting right now I'm so happy. That epilogue was EPIC!!What I first loved about this series were the power plays between Judge and Mercedes. From the minute he took over her guardianship there was a an intense connection between them. Their mutual attraction and scorching chemistry led to all sorts of complications. Mercedes resented Judge and her predicament so she went out of her way to rebel and push his buttons.Judge was a man used to being in control and wielding the power so he had to act quickly and harshly to bring Mercedes under control and keep a tight leash on his own demons in the process.As the series progressed I loved seeing the dynamics of their relationship change, how lines got crossed and rules were broken with epic consequences.I don't think there could be any other woman capable of bringing Judge to his knees than Mercedes, she really did wield all the power. I freaking loved her strength and resilience.I've loved every turbulent moment of Mercedes and Judge's effed up messy and unconventional love story. It was brimming with rage and resentment, danger and betrayal but also full of passion and pain that created an unbreakable bond of love and respect where they were stronger together.The Rite Trilogy was another brilliant collaboration from the minds of two crazy talented authors, everything they write is an exhilarating experience you do not want to miss, trust me.
