I bought this and received it quickly but that is where the positive experience ended. I thoroughly read operation instruction and followed the directions. Nothing was as it said and the instructions were just terrible. Example: the cam has 1 indicator light and manual keeps saying "red and blue" indicators. Under the section called Charging in the manual it says "When it's fully charged (about 2-3 hours), the reda and blue indicators will light" Well since there is one light how is that possible ? This was an example but throughout the instruction it keeps saying you will see both red and blue light. But when you are charging you only see a red light and it flashes. So let's play devil's advocate and say it was operator error misunderstanding on my part, but there's no FAQ and no referral to a support entity. So I go online and type in support for Kinglim cam and it takes me to a website called something "gear" and I have no idea if I am in the right place or not so I look for technical info about the cam or FAQs or Troubleshooting. Nothing that can help me other than a link for chatting. I don't have time for this so I decided to return it. It's become my pet peeve that these inserts that are supposed to be user instructions are so poorly written almost as if a non English speaker wrote them. So completely insufficient for operating such a small cam. You have no idea if it's even turned on or not and even though your supposed to be able to get a certain mode to do specific things (like a mode for night vision or motion activated), if you follow the instruction there is nothing to confirm that it would work or not. So the scenario is, you think you followed directions, you have no idea if it's working, you set it down for monitoring motion outside your house for example,,, and you find out nothing recorded after you come home later and connect it to a computer to watch what taped. ???? Nobody I know has the time for that. Such a stupid cam. The only positive thing is the size and perhaps the build of it. But the design of the fuction and features (if good) are totally useless because of user experience. This product is a FAIL....

tried to set up to record the unknown animal in my basement, failed each time, maybe it was me, not smart enough to follow the instructions. So to me, it’s not user friendly

I am a senior lady and am having strange things happening around the outside of my home. I so wanted to have a way to find out what is going on BUT I can't for the life of me get this thing to work. Is there any customer service that could walk me through setting my camera up? I have read the "manual" several times. I want to feel safe in my home at night. HELP HELP

The product did not load into my desktop as indicated in the instruction pamphlet. WouId not stay on and when it did, only for less than a minute. I had to physically remove mocro SD card from device and place in card reader to view images on my desktop as I could not recognize the camera connections when attached to the USB desktop as the instrucions indicated. When I replaced the SD card back in to this device, it loaded loosely and angled and was irretrievably lost in the micro card slot in the camera. I would like to have a working replacement.

You get what you pay for. I could never get it work except when it was plugged into the usb port of my computer. I read and re-read instructions without success. I will spend more money and get a better unit.

Sure gets hot while charging.

In the description it says built in 32g memory. Well, like the poorly written instructions, the poorly written description tells you something not true. There is no built in memory just a slot for a micro sd card. This is garbage because it is the only reason I made this purchase and did not buy a different one. And I bought 2!

I'd give this a negative star if I could. It ate the SD card, it does not register on the computer, and nothing happens after charging in terms of turning it on. I'm going to have to find a tiny screwdriver to take it apart in order to get the SD card out. Don't waste your money - this is a rip off!
